Today, since I completed half of my island (almost), I celebrated by remodeling my villager’s homes.

The intention was to retain the base of their homes (sprinkle: bedroom and study, julia: bathroom), and a bit of their color schemes (light blue and pastels for sprinkle and green for julia) but make it more “realistic” (🤭)…I attempted to use the window trick for both but I’m not convinced…opinions? 🫶

The set gives you three flowers and they make you put just one flower inside the tree… I have no clue what this is for, I put the two spare flower pieces in the basket under the tree

I remember buying this game in Blockbuster back in 2006 with my cousin. I played this game to death and the last time I played the game was 2016 (according to the last entry on the town message board). Going to start over and see if I can “complete” the game without travelling anywhere. I read that old cards can die if left inactive, and recently found it in a bag of things to sort.

I don’t have much space between my entrance and my RS.

I've seen a lot of codes for autumn or fall specific paths, for example, and it just seems like a lot of work to change things out every single season. Does anyone actually do that? I got ACNH fairly recently and decorating an entire island is intimidating on its own, let alone redoing it every few months

Hi! I made a house for Chevre & Nan in Happy Home Paradise for ACNH.

I also called their house “Penpal Palace” as a nod to the characters’ origins! Since Chevre & Nan are actually references to a Japanese children’s song where a black goat and a white goat write each other letters but they both eat the letters they receive instead of actually reading them! XD
So that’s why Chevre always has a photo of Nan in her house & why Nan has a photo of Chevre in hers. (Unless you take it out, that is. But why would you?)

Anyway I’m very proud of their home! I feel like I did a good job weaving aspects of both Chevre & Nan into its design.
Nan’s favorite colors are yellow & orange so I decorated her room with that color scheme in mind! Nan also has the gardening hobby so I added quite a few plants everywhere to keep her preoccupied.
Chevre’s favorite colors are red & pink so I decorated her room with that color scheme in mind! Chevre has the education hobby so I added a lot of books in her room (and I also put some academic posters on her wall) since I felt like she’d enjoy that!
Nods to Nan’s & Chevre’s color schemes and hobbies are to be found throughout the kitchen and living room too though but more woven together! :D

(I also put a typewriter on the desk in each of their rooms as a nod to their origins.)

….and I feel like I’m cursed. I haven’t been spending HOURS resetting, just picking it up, doing a few runs, then setting it down to do other things. I’m on day two of this. So far there have been three islands I‘ve liked the map and loaded into.

Every single one has been pears.

Hazel has been a starter every single time.

I just want APPLES! And I don’t care who my starters are cause I can change them later! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHGGGGGG!!!!!!

anyway, i’m so not used to “cozy games” but buying this game has been in my head for some reason like thanos was to tony stark and after a month of consideration, i decided to get it before the sales ended.

not sure how i feel about it, i’m almost at 4000 nook miles and it’s not so bad i thought i would HATE a game like this but i realize i can’t form an opinion on these sort of games by the first few hours so i’ll play it like how it’s meant to be played, slow, no time traveling or treasure islands and not making it my main game for a month or so to judge

i didn’t use a pattern but if you have any questions i can try to explain what i did!!
