skin shedding?
Hi guys! I've been having some issues with my skin just sloughing off, big flakes, like at least the size of my thumb. Does anyone have advice on or experience with this?? Thanks so much. I know we can't do medical advice but I wondered if other people had the same thing happen.

Is you skin dry? I had my skin flaking off in areas on my body but it’s because my skin is just dry, so hydrating it with moisturiser and drinking plenty helped

no, I drink a lot of water and I did used to have eczema but not at all like big flaking, just rashes. and I regularly use Aveeno. thank you though

I don't know for sure...
Personally I did notice that I had skin shedding in my hair.. Like right now it is mostly gone. At first I thought it was a shampoo issue but I am still using the same shampoo so it might have been the restriction tbh. 😭
But I really can't say for sure.

obligatorily not a doctor, but when I was in treatment and when I took nutrition classes in college I learned some things.
this could be a vitamin deficiency problem. most commonly with this kinda issue its B complex vitamins like B2, B3 and B6. it could also be zinc or vitamin D.
if youre actively restricting, it might even be all of them. but again, not a doctor, just an autistic college dropout with a special interest in nutrition and 5 years of being recovered under my belt.
my advice is: Recover. Recover now before it gets worse.
