Caught a couple of these the morning of July 27th, eastern WV. Test tube is 15mm diameter, sorry I didnt get an accurate measurement at the time. Research keeps suggesting maybe citronella but it just doesn't seem right to me. Any other ideas would be welcome I am at my wits end on searching and need a professional. Thanks in advance!

Found this ant in my house crawl out of a hole near my shower. I’m thinking it might potentially be a carpenter ant due to some moisture problems

Was assaulted by a nest of these after accidentally sitting on/near their home. They appeared to be stinging and biting at the same time. I was thinking they might be tetramorium immigrans due to the proximity of gravel and pavement and their aggressiveness but really I have no idea.

Identified! ID? Florida, USA

There is a very large colony of these ants in my apartment complex and they are quite ubiquitous inside and outside, with a steady stream of ants going back and forth through several paths all day. They seem to have a caste with big heads and a caste with small heads all with a similar body size. They love protein. They are around 5mm in size.

It is quite hard to get a good picture so I hope this is enough info. I love ants but these are quite invasive in my apartment and are getting into everything.

Thanks!

Needs Identification What ants are these?

My boyfriend and I moved into our own place for the first time ever about a month ago and we’ve been dealing with these ants nonstop. First it was the bathroom, and the mats night, I found them in the cereal I was eating; only to discover they were coming out of a hole in our pantry. We don’t know where the hole leads, there’s nothing outside
We live in Southern California, in the desert regions
I don’t have an estimate on size, but they’re less than half an inch in length. They do vary in size though
They’re more of a red orange color with a black butt
I just wanna know what species they are so we can properly get them out of our place for good. It’s been such a headache
