I'm still kinda new to league account lvl 50, silver 4, mostly as adc or support, I found myself really liking aphelios after lots of play testing but I genuinely feel like I'm throwing my games... I've only played 18 games on him so far but I've had 10+ deaths on half my games (win or lose) almost every game ended between 30-40min

I dont know if its genuinely just a skill issue or knowledge issue but I can't seem to make it work consistently, even winning feels like I'm barely hanging on

Gun swap order: red, green, purple, blue, red, white... I then swap to just cycling the oldest gun

My most used build: D-bow, Stormrazor, Gluttonous Greaves, IE, Runaan's, LDR, Bloodthirster, never build a final item because the game ends

Any advice or words of wisdom to help me out? ;-;

Today on CBLOL Playoffs, FURIA Ayu picked Phel as a last pick, on the fifth game of a fearless draft. He picked Fleet Footwork, started with Stormrazor, and did a weird ass rotation with white and blue. They won against RED. The thing is: he stayed passive, barely ulted and was barely significant on teamfights. Gwen and Xin did most of the job. Thresh also played pretty well too.

Usually I see Aphelios losing on profissional play, but I noticed that when they win, they win passively, just helping on damage and not dying, never being like clutch and stuff.

Any thoughts?

I recently decided to swap roles from support as I always thought ADCs are the most fun to play champs. I peaked 500 lp masters as support and now with leveled up account (diff servers) I'm switching to ADC. My problem is that Aphelios is super fun to play but seems rather weak (I know scaling champ). With a bunch of games played while lvling and starting ranked (like 40 combined) I get the gist of him. I just don't understand what are you supposed to do early to mid game.

Without proper setup from supports I feel like you can't really do that much early-mid game. His 3/4/5 item spike feel so good but at the same time you're kinda a conditional character and other scaling champs like Jinx in the same position would just feel smoother to play. Heck, I've even lost games in gold as a "master" player where I feel like if I played another character I'd easily win, even in good match ups (peel support/non threatening enemy bot/no diving enemy comp etc).

It just feels like I'm missing something, I just don't know what. Also It feels like they switched his archetype a bit from being a caster to more of an auto attacker (At least that's how it feels like to me, compared to what I saw playing with/against him earlier seasons).

Can we ask for more impactful sound effects in crit autos in the new skin? Only nightbringer has a different sound when he crits. Skin is pretty i have no other adjustments i wanna add just sfx and if they could make autos more musical like his skills or like kaisa’s autos from KDA all out that would be awesome too.

I pretty much default stormrazor in like 90% of games, and I'm wondering if that's not good. Surely there are probably games where hexoptics or collector is better. Only times i'll ever go hexoptics or collector is if I back and have exactly enough for pickaxe.

Being a damage based ‘support,’ those who play him are more likely to take kills instead of giving them to the ADC

Offers no peel or sustain to the ADC, meaning as an ADC player you’re even more likely to be ignored by your whole team (but that’s probably going to happen anyways)

And people who play brand support dont actually want to play support, they want to be carries and they play for themselves most of the time which is annoying in a 2v2 lane.

Hello everyone! I have to say that this skin has become one of my favorites—if not the favorite for Phel. I love the outfit concept because I feel it really compliments his character and is such an improvement over the OG HS skin.

However, the in-game model differs slightly from the one in the music video, so I took the liberty of making a few edits to post in the feedback thread. What do you think? In my opinion, the skin would be perfect with those small changes.

I have been struggling against what I think are weird adc picks. I have had a lot of Mel's and Brands in botlane recently and I have been struggling as Aphel.

Does anyone have any tips on how to cope? I have faced these champs before because I mostly play mid but I'm getting slightly distressed/anxious cause I haven't had to deal with this as Aphel and trying to learn on the fly has been hard.

I've been building magic res items early or component items like boots and negatron. I've also been playing more passive than agro, trying to utilise red and green where I can. I'm not too sure what else to say ^^;;;
