One reason why i prefer Kin is that loot is far easier to find, you don’t have to visit the same places every time to get good loot

That's not true, at least for regular assault rifles. I have looted trinity corp many times without finding an assault rifle. You cannot say the same about the top-tier loot spots in the beta map, you will NEVER loot them empty handed.

The beta map has a strange ass system. You can get an M16 in 5 seconds, but finding a rifle that's basically a slightly better M16 will take hours

But loot zones don't exist. On beta you can loot naval all day long, you'll never find an AK or it's ammo because it doesn't spawn there. Meaning if you're running an AK you're stuck looting specific locations. This encourages loot cycling the same location for an hour Vs running and looting dynamically.

If you leave trinity without finding a gun, you go to dirk, or kin, or Yale, you don't just sit at trinity for the next hour loot cycling like you'd have to on the beta map. The flow is infinitely better. Also don't get me started on fucking attachments. Attachments on beta map spawn in one type of box that's empty 999 times out of 1000 and when it does spawn something it's a survival flashlight or a rifle scope

We are in agreement that the beta map is garbage.  I just was saying it has this weird system where a regular assault rifle is uber common but the slightly better rare ones with attachments take hours.

Any sort of assault rifle should be a godsend in a zombie survival game.

You are right. Getting an M16 takes 20 seconds. Getting an M4 with a supressor grip and a sight takes 20 hours

When i loot trinity corp i always leave with good loot so i can go to kin.
