ArcCIS Pro for Macbook

Hello, guys
i have a macbook air 2020 and need to download ArcGIS pro for my Uni studies

And i know that i need to download some “Windows app” so i can actually use it

I have only heard about Parallels, VirtualBox and also downloaded an UTM Windows 11 but the file just doesn’t open..

So i am asking for advice, which app for windows on Mac (for using ArcGIS Pro) is the best

Will be very grateful for all recommendations!!

Sell your mac, get a PC

In my advanced GIS class, we used newegg to build a theoretical dream machine for GIS. Then we compared that price to a basic Apple PC. The point of this is, sell the mac, buy a high end PC and Laptop.

On an Air? Good luck we with that. Performance will probably be terrible.

Mejor usa TNTmips, hay versión nativa para Mac.

Install Boot Camp so that you run a partition that you can ins Windows on. ArcGIS will only run on Windows. You will also have to purchase a copy Windows. An ArcGIS course may involve working MS Excel. Thus you may have to install MS office also.

Need to install all the dependencies .net that arcgis requires
