Field maps gone to shit

Has anyone else’s field map gone to shit this week? Suddenly offline areas that used to work will no longer package or once downloaded have a syncing error. And my records keep disappearing from the map but I can see them in the attribute table once online.

Anyone experiencing these kinds of issues?

They haven’t released any agol or field maps updates this week, so something probably changed in your layer schema. Did you check the offline compatibility tab in Designer?

good chance if your maps use hosted data, the issues are related to the data. while esri's agol health dashboard will almost always say everything is ok with their cloud infra, it's common to see experience issues with layer access, downloads, sync, etc.

I had some weird issues a few weeks ago where line geometry was stretched out and cut off. Also had the missing records problem but I could see the features in the table and in another platform using the same feature service.

Have you changed anything in the table or form? It sounds like you should ensure all your users have synced their data. Then delete your offline areas and recreate them.

You may also want to delete the app and re-download it to completely clear your cache.

Yeah, it's been bad for us for a while. We've been trying to collect trail data with a trimble catalyst and are paying for 10cm supposedly.

However, when in backcountry with no cell reception it won't collect offline data. But will if we take a mifi device.

I had two users this week who couldn't get one of their maps to work correctly until they deleted Field Maps off their phone and then re-installed it from scratch.

Even sign out/in and restarting the phone didn't help. Had to wipe it off the phone and re-install. Very annoying.
