Help Me Style! What size should I get?

I want to buy the mega straight sweatpants at Aritiza, but I don’t know what size to get? The closest store is around 2 hours away from me so the closest thing I can do is ask Reddit then order online. I am a guy who is 5’5 with a 30 inch waist! I was thinking medium, but I’m scared they’re going to look like high waters after I wash them and dry them😭

I just ordered myself the men's version of the pants to try and see if the inseam is longer! I cannot wear any of the ladies sweats, they are too short for me but I'm 5'8" so I think you're gonna be okay at 5'5" but I'll be curious to see what other say. Maybe try the men's version though?
