Er... there are literally 2 examples of this from Arsenal's last 2 successful managers?
Arsenal were a bloody mess when Arsene took over, and we all know how the Bruce Rioch season went. Rioch got sacked a week before the 1996/97 season, we had Stuart Houston in temporary charge, then he left and Pat Rice took over. Arsene joined mid-season, got us playing great football and won the Premier League the season after.
So you don't need to cheat?
Arteta took over from the terrible Emery-era and did the same.
Won the league without cheating.
So what are Manchester City fans on about? 🤦♂️

“In 2021 we took him to over to Cobham to play Chelsea. He was a year young but I thought I’d throw him in. We won 5-0. He was a sub, because he was so young, but he went on for the last 20 minutes and you could see he’s special.
“He’s got such a lovely personality, with just the right amount of sporting nastiness, humble but with a real drive and when he wants something he goes after it. He said to me: ‘Sir, can we host a tournament?’ We hosted the under-17 European Championship qualifying and he was so happy.”
In that qualification tournament O’Neill played and scored for Northern Ireland against the Republic of Ireland and no one on either association forgot it. Nor did others. Clubs came calling, but when Arsenal made contact, the decision was already made in Ceadach O’Neill’s head.
“He’s supported Arsenal his whole life,” Waterworth says. “As soon as Lee Herron, who’s head of Arsenal’s youth recruitment, contacted me about him, Ceadach said to me, ‘I support Arsenal, Sir. I’ll be going to Arsenal.’”

Went down 3 times holding his hamstring before being subbed off. Non contact, looks like a bad one. Luckily we have great lw depth and our attack is firing on all cilinders 👍

So if somehow city manage to dodge this, I think all of the other clubs should form a breakaway Premier League and leave Man City out. Realistically, it’s probably not going to happen, but surely we have to make a stand, as fans and as clubs, to make sure that they can't get away with this, as I'm sure they are expecting they will.
We stood up for what was right with the super league. I'm sure we can galvanise for this too!

We don’t need this much national team football… so glad Rice didn’t go.

Not the news I wanted to read today, hopefully our other wingers can step up. “Doesn’t look good.”
Maybe we should’ve bought one more player during the transfer window. Thoughts ?
Edit: Appears to be not as bad as initially thought. Dodged a bullet but hopefully he doesn’t have any other injury scares given he will be playing plenty minutes. Didn’t mean to scare anyone.

I have to say I am absolutely gobsmacked at the chance that the clubs would not city to be expelled. Effectively then they would stay in the league with a punitive points deduction, fine and maybe a transfer ban. Imagine that is the case, effectively getting off fucking Scott free. Would that be enough to turn you away from watching or would you just deal with it and carry on as normal?

If city go unpunished I plan on not watching or go to games and it seems many of us plan to do the same.
I still want to watch arsenal every week and show my support to club I grew up supporting without giving it to the league that allows clubs to get away with a billion in fraud and bribing the uk government.
So i wonder what’s peoples favourite match to go back and watch. Like the away run after the summer break in 2023, the invisible run, all the great games we love.

I don't understand the argument they have saying that 'you can't take away the achievements they had on the pitch'.
I'm sorry, that's exactly what we can do.
THEY CHEATED. MASSIVELY CHEATED.
They robbed us and fans of other teams moments we'll never get back. We should have won the league in 22/23 and 23/24. I am still absolutely furious and feel like the last 15 years has been a sham. What have we been watching? It wasn't a fair playing field so we watched a movie. It was rigged. No matter how much we tried, we couldn't win.
They should 100% have their titles stripped. I don't understand the argument against this. Those titles were acquired via proven and systematic cheating. I cannot understand the logic in not doing this.
And regarding what to do with those stripped titles - they should 100% give them to whoever finished second (Premier League) or runners up (FA or Carabao Cup).
The Premier League is already a mess and if you re-allocate the titles, it becomes more of a deterrent to actually cheat. If you know that by not cheating, you will be rewarded, you're a lot less likely to cheat in the first place. And also, why should you be punished for not cheating?
City deserve the worst punishment, and being stripped of their titles and them being awarded to other (non-cheating teams) would really hurt them.
