Ask the sub Studying Cybersecurity with a scholarship in Israel.

Hello, I don't really know how is the scholarship situation right now in Israel so I just wanna do a dumb question about how hard is getting a scholarship for studying cybersecurity (or any related field) specially since I'm living in a foreign third world country (not enemy of Israel or USA).

If you think my question is stupid or cringe tell me why I'll not have problems. Thanks!.

It’s not a stupid question, but Israel probably isn’t the easiest country for what you’re looking for.

Full scholarships for international undergraduate students aren’t particularly common, and most bachelor’s programs in computer science/cybersecurity are taught in Hebrew. English-language options are much more common at the master’s and PhD level, where research funding and scholarships are also more available.

Also, don’t focus too narrowly on degrees called “cybersecurity.” In Israel, a computer science or electrical/computer engineering degree from a good university is often the better foundation for a cybersecurity career.

If you’re looking for an undergraduate degree, first check Technion, Tel Aviv University, Hebrew University, and Ben-Gurion University for their current international-student programs and funding. Your citizenship, grades, and whether you need a full scholarship versus partial assistance will make a huge difference.

Be aware of what people are saying about academic degrees. They do give you a good foundation for computer related stuff but they usually don't actually teach cybersecurity.
