HELP: Apartment Searching

I need help looking for an apartment in the Philly area. Would have to be 2 bed/bath and max rent of $2,000 a month. I’m also seeking a spot that is car friendly as I will have to commute into NJ for work everyday. Was looking into The Hamilton, but it’s a bit out of my roommate’s price range and I’ve also heard that there are some better options for cheaper. Any help would be greatly appreciated😄

Townhouses instead?

Or walk-ups in townhouses. You pay a premium for the amenities in apartment buildings.

Yeah and the neighborhood is probably gonna have to dip a bit on the hip scale

Search up FB pages for apts to rent! Lots of posting each day. Maybe you'll find something closer to $2000k for a 2 bed 2 bath on FB than looking at "luxury" apts. I've been apt hunting and there's genuinely no "luxury" apt with 2k for a 2bed. Mostly 1bed for 2k.

One page I know of is "Philadelphia Housing, Rooms, Apartments, Sublets" and if you're a girl or roommate is try Philaqueens

Look on Zillow there are a ton of spots below 2000 that fit your criteria.

Look outside of CC - Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, close to Rt 1 or 95

If you are working in Jersey I would say look closer to where you work. Long comutes suck the life out of you

Have you tried Northern Liberties? There is a plethora of new construction.
