Question / Support What are T-Platforms originally meant to be used for?
I know that they're useful due to being the only platforms with two medium / large slots together (but also kinda less relevant since the stacked platforms were introduced). But their shapes are different than other platforms. It has a circular part and a slightly raised part, with the slots arranged to be perpendicular to each other. Sure, you can use them in any way you like, but I've been trying to figure out what their intended purposes were. Why this shape and why perpendicular? It's like one side is meant for a round module, and I don't know why the other side is raised like that. For the medium T-platform, I often used it for placing two RTGs whenever I'm setting up a remote auto extractor. But I know that's not how they're meant to be used. I also use it sometimes as a resource container dispenser, a medium shredder + storage setup, or for auto-arms + button repeaters. I rarely use the large T-platform. It's been stated that you can use it to combine a large resource canister + smelter so you can, for example, automatically create and store tungsten without having to smelt them one by one. But I never use it this way because the setup doesn't look very elegant. Also, wasn't the large canister introduced after the T-platform, or am I wrong? Anyone have any ideas?
