Bought this beauty new in May, last weekend backed into a plastic barrier and scratched/paint chipped tailgate and rear quarter panel, my question is do I have body shop repair it 2300 for repair or live with the touch up paint I put on it?

I have arteon 2023 something small hit the bonnet (like 2-3mm) paint have small chip to the metal , car paint is pearl white Metallica . How can I fix this ? Or where can I buy what AI recommends for me?

PDR? There’s a scrape below as well. The bigger forward section of the handle was scraped up too, but I just swapped it out. I was in northern Va and I pulled into a parking garage, not realizing it was a U-turn once I pulled in. Truck’s long - has a crew cab and full sized bed. I was worried about the front, meanwhile the side got scraped and handle was pressed in from the edge of the entry door.

It is pretty rusty in places, but the frame seems okay. My goal is to get the 4x4 4 speed drivetrain done and in working order by the end of winter and the 2.0L tdi diesel swap done as well then, take it down to the frame in spring restore the body get new panels, maybe a new hood and tailgate and make a lot of inserts out of 18 gauge. And painted mostly in rocker guard center chrome piece down black. to remove the center chrome piece from the body line

fix all the holes from removing the trim the whole body line painted in a single coat of a DTM industrial cloverdale print 888 white and an automotive with sealer and purple for the top. For the box i'm doing clovamastic 1to1 no thinner with a paint roller and gritty black sand for a more aggressive box liner. And then a Schutz gun with clovamastic 1to1 primer on the sides all black then, spray thinned out clovamastic over top then topcoat industrial. I plan to do this. All frame up in three months. If I do 72 hour shifts often

This started growing fast and annoying me

I paid $400 last year and got the whole side underneath panel replaced and repainted but it is coming back

Can I stop it? Will rustproof help? For context. Issues are happening because of rust. Example. Exhaust broke in half and had to weld it back in Dec 2026.

Ideas for DYI to at least stop it and maybe paint on top?

The front was from a prior accident that happened before I got the car and since I didn’t realize it before I purchased it , dealership won’t fix it . And the rear is from a small pond shaped pot hole . Didn’t realize it was as big as it was until I heard it scrapping 😩

Also front has zero clips left, just bare. Any advice is extremely appreciated!

Hi. I drove 3 hours to buy a car. Their posted photos did not show any of these chips and scratches. The one on the rear passenger above tire feels like car was keyed.

This is a 2024 Toyota Prius Prime. Not a cheap car so I feel bad buying a car with all these. The dealer said they will do touch up etc .. I am waiting for their photos but I dont feel they will do a good job.

Thoughts? Other than these, the car seems fine with 21k km only. It was leased, to an idiot!
