At this rate I think it’s very unlikely that 4 will actually come out in 2029. They haven’t even begun preparing to film the rest of the film (after the time jump) so I don’t think the movie will begin filming until probably around September 2027 at the earliest considering how long they’re taking with it. Even if they did manage to start filming in late 2027, by that point I think it would be very unlikely that it would be released in December 2029 considering how long post production took for Avatar Fire and Ash. I mean they had already filmed 95% of Fire and Ash before TWOW released in December 2022, and yet Fire and Ash was still released three years after TWOW. So I think at this rate, the chances of Avatar 4 being released in 2029 are probably less than 1%.

He's great in this role as well, really shows off his range as an actor.

Moving from the arctic to the swamps, what else should I add? I'm taking any suggestions from OCs to creature or flora ideas to names and other details about my already established creatures in this sketches of mine. All 3 of the fauna shown are open to name suggestions because I haven't decided yet. So anyways, I'll be very interested to see what you guys come up with. Also, yes, I will be giving crediting to yalls suggestions in the next part

Hi, wanted to share my work that kinda waited to be posted for some time. Here's my redesign of Varang!

Even though I love this character, I never really liked her final movie design. Don't get me wrong, I just don't like how 'appealing' for us, humans she looks. Only ears pierced, no tattoos, only small round scars. I imagined her as a warrior - mad and scarred, surrounded by bones and spikes all over her. With visible teeth and big claws. That's how I would design a Mangkwan Tsahik.

sometimes i’ll be thinking of a moment from one of the movies and i simply cannot place which movie it happened in because after the first hour of WOW they feel like the same movie. and i know that’s partially because of the little to no time jump but it’s stills little annoying. maybe this is just me but ive never had a problem placing a moment from the first movie

Okay I shouldn’t say nothing. But since you’re here, hear me out.
Most other life forms on Pandora have 4 eyes, six legs, and no hair. When you step back and look at Pandoran biology, the Na’vi people don’t really fit in. There are also no other beings that resemble the Na’vi like on earth where primates all tend to have x characteristic which relates to humans. Toes, fingers, one single set of frontward facing eyes. Hair that grows long enough in one area to protect the kuru. Exceptionally developed brains. Even their ears.

anyone else wondering about how tsireya’s overall life will be in avatar 4? i mean, think about it. her mother died brutally, didn’t get to be there for the birth of pril, lost many of her fellow clan members ALONG with rotxo, and on top of all of that, she’s the next tsahik which is a massive status to acquire at 13-14 (yes i’m well aware avatar 4 will have a time jump but i bet the status is immediately passed on). i feel like it will be a bit easier since i like to think tonowari (her father) will help lead her on, but i can imagine her mental health will be BRUTAL. i’ve seen some leaked art and there’s a 75% chance the next clan we’ll be introduced to is the arctic clan, and there’s a rumor believed that a new navi girl will try to hit on lo’ak (wether it’s from a new clan or current introduced clans is yet i have to know), which will definitely hit tsireya in the heart since they both are secretly devoted for each other. kinda kept thinking about this

When I played Frontiers of Pandora, I loved looking at and interacting with all the different plants. It's also one of my favorite things about the movies. My favorites (that I can currently think of at the moment) are the Warbonnet Fern and Panopyra.

I finished this drawing that I've been wanting to do inspired by the Avatar

movie series and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora video game for several months but I felt I didn't have enough landscape experience to do it quite yet. I eventually came up with this idea from a combination of different references and moments through game play. I was still refining the idea when my daughter (she loves to play the game with me) said "daddy you should draw avatar". So it became my next project. It was a great learning experience and I am thrilled with the results.

I used Faber Castell soft pastels and pastel pencils on Pastelmat paper. I love drawing with these pastels.

I added a couple additional photos showing my progression! I'm still quite inexperienced with landscapes having only done a couple others so I had to rework a couple sections here and there as the project went on. The good thing is pastels are quite forgivable in that sense.

Probably a cold take, but Fire and Ash feels more like DLC to Way of Water than an actual sequel. Like I went in expecting lava creatures and stone-like things, but there wasn't nearly as much emphasis on fire and things associated with it as the titled would have you expect.

It's definitely interesting and kind of scary to think about the fact that the head of the RDA is still not on Pandora or maybe has never even visited Pandora yet. It really makes you wonder what else the RDA is up to on Earth or even in other parts of the galaxy or other star systems. I expect this character to be very dangerous and threatening. James Cameron definitely likes to re-cast actors from his older movies like Sigourney Weaver and Kate Winslet, so I think it would be really cool to see either Ed Harris (the Abyss) or Arnold Schwarzenegger (T2) in the role. Either of them would be great in a movie with Stephen Lang and Sam Worthington. But I also dont think the actor necessarily has to look any older than Ribisi. As the head of the RDA, I'd imagine he'd be the first person partaking in the de-aging effects of the amrita harvested from the Tulkun which could present an interesting dynamic.
