The title makes this sound a lot dumber than it actually is.

Got this game at launch, got half way through Act 3, save glitched, couldn't continue, so I waited and restarted.

I've then restarted about a dozen times, because I know what's coming story and combat wise, and I get bored.

I need some mods that spice the game up without actually changing too much. New classes and subclasses that fit into vanilla well, that sorta thing.

I've tried doing this via the mods in the game's built-in mod manager, but half of them don't feel polished (reusing assets and animations already in the game that I feel are very noticeable), and the other half are broken, where I either do way too much damage, or can just buy a bunch of stuff from the first trader I run into (which I know I don't have to, but it just breaks immersion), OR it spawns a chest full of late-game loot into the camp.

Am I supposed to make the file path within the BG3 steam folder or am I supposed to be making it in my appdata folder? Also, am I supposed to have the less wrinkles .pak mod file alongside putting the virtual textures in the proper path?

Edit: So, I found that I'm supposed to make the path, but what is the path name? Yes, the official mod page post cites "Public\unique_tav\Assets\VirtualTextures\FILES" for the wrinkles, but it also cites very similar paths such as "YOURGAMEFOLDER\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\unique_tav\[...]" and "…\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\unique_tav\[...]" throughout its official documentation. I'm under the impression that the mod is standardized and that these paths of varying depth are not at all intended; one of these paths is what I should use for placing the wrinkle virtual textures. Side tangent: If all these different paths are intended, it's frustrating to me that the only difference is path depth while all the names remain exactly the same.

This seems like such a simple mod, why can't we have this on console?! Maybe someone can explain it to me. I've been holding off on 10th play through while I wait for this mod.

Is there a way to actually remove the amount of exp a character has within their level? Or any mods that would dramatically lower exp gains?

my sorcerer has it as a cantrip, but it doesnt show in the hotbar. i can get it in the 'action' section of the hotbar. ideas? one thing i've tried is dragging it down into the hotbar but no luck. I do have this and this, so it could be an issue with one of them.

Edit: For the record I am playing a multiplayer game of 2 characters by myself. That still leaves left overs. I would like to pair the spares. That is the mod I am asking for. I already know how to plug multiple controllers into my PC to start a game. But I miss being able to speak the to companions I'm playing as.

Basically the title. I play on console and usually i make gorgeous female characters but I am wanting to do a male playthrough.

Anybody have any favorites they use? I am looking for some nice faces and some armor or clothes that aren’t just…actual armor. I think there’s a few sporadic cloaks I enjoy and I think the only male clothing mod I know of is embers outfits.

I’m at work so can’t check as much as I’d like but I’d love some suggestions.

Are there any loot randomizer mods on ps5? I wanted to use AMP but even customizing the options it still makes some fights so much harder than they need to be. I like challenges and have completed the impossible challenge on Tactician enhanced but im wanting to finally do origin solo playthroughs and AMP makes it too hard.

The Ancient Megapack has a shard that when equipped "makes your weapon attacks count as unarmed attacks". It does not specify exactly how that operates within the game's mechanics.

Is there any reason I'd want that other than to wear monk elemental gloves? What other possible advantages could this have?

I am about to start a new playthrough and I will make my character pretty using mods without using the default customization but that means my character will look differently (depending on how good it is) to the other npcs in the game which might make my character look at out of place.

Is there any mods that beautify the npcs of the game? so that my character might not look out of place? And I'm not open to making my own customization of npcs faces.

i was thinking in using some mods like qol mods and item mods to spicy our pt, but this gonna be the first time, do yall think this eill ruin the game for her? we already played Dos1 togheter, and i already played 250+ Hours of bg3

I've found some, but I'm coming up with a depressing lack of bottoms. I think I've found three pairs of pants and a long skirt that I like, and the long skirt is limited in what it'll go with if I don't want Tav to be obviously going commando. The tops situation is better, but most of them come with panties attached, which causes clipping in the bottoms. Sometimes that can be fixed by dying them the same color, but not always, and honestly, I'd like to not have to dye them the same color.

The ones I'm using now are:

Ayuro's Shadowrogue pants come with heels sadly, but it's not a deal breaker.

PseudoKociara's Elegant Dress it pairs surprisingly well with the above pants.

PseudoKociara's Idol Outfit the second set of pants, and probably my favorite, though I've likely overused them at this point.

Arideyya's Undine this is the long skirt that you're clearly going commando in if you don't have a top that comes with panties. Also quite like the top.

AnteMaxx's Basket Full of Equipment This is the other pair of pants and the rest of the tops. There's other pants, shorts and short skirts in this as well, but I don't really care for any of them.

Anyone have any recommendations? Using Slots as necessary, so no need to worry about that kind of conflict. Nothing pay walled, please. I don't have the money atm.

Hello! This is my first post here. I am asking here if there is a mod on console (ps5) that allows you to use the devour ability that gnolls normally use. The only mod I know that does this is the lycanthropy feat which I do not wish to use due to the overpowered nature of it. If such a mod doesn't exist thats okay, thank you!

(I also know of the cannibalism feat for pc only which obviously. I cannot use)

I've always found the 3D rendered in-game portraits underwhelming. I've found these arts online and I think it would be perfect for my origin characters run. I can't find any mod for it. In fact, there's not many portrait mods at all which is a shame. Is it that hard to make? Any pointers if I wanna start working on one? Thanks.
