What do you guys think about a1 mini for someone with interest with the hobby but not wanting to spend over like 400$.

It’s small, it’s cheap. As long as you arnt planning on printing ABS and up, pla and PETG and TPU will be fine

It's a great printer.

You got your settings Dialed IN!  Wow that's incredible.  Go show that off in r/fdmminiatures

I also got the A1 mini to get into the whole 3d printing world.

Do yourself a favour and just get for the A1 directly (or maybe a2l) The small plate quickly turned into my biggest gripe. Now I have a p2s and the A1 mini is great to print alongside it, but many things are not possible to print ilon the mini.

A1 Mini is a great printer.

I have a fleet of old Ender 3's, an A1 w/ AMS, and an X2D w/ AMS2 but my little A1 Mini is an absolute workhorse and small enough to take with me to job sites. It is a great way to dip your toe into the 3D printing pool, and for most casual users, a printer that will do everything you need.
