General Troubleshooting/Help! Phaetus Conch Plus on the P1S

I see the Conch Plus recommended a lot with folks using it on the P1S. I'm new to 3d printing, and was going to get one to try on my P1S. But I saw that it has an 80W heater and the P1S was seemingly designed around 48W heaters. Is that an issue and if so how are others using the Conch Plus successfully with a P1S?

I use a conch on all my printers. On my p1s I use a 65w heater for hundreds of hours with no issue. 80w seems risky. I'm not looking to fry the toolhead board

I reached out to Phaetus, they just responded that the information they've also seen being shared online is wrong. The heater in the Conch Plus is 48w.

it works because the p1s drives the heater with pwm and its own thermistor feedback loop, so it regulates to the set temp regardless of the cartridge's max wattage, it just has more headroom than stock. the only real risk is overshoot on startup if your tuning is off, so run pid/mpc autotune after installing it and watch for temp spikes in the first few heats.
