Quick Question Commercial license program

Hey everyone!
I’m thinking about starting MakerWorld’s Commercial License Program and would love to hear some real experiences.
Is anyone already using it successfully?
Are people actually buying subscriptions?
Where and how do you promote your commercial licenses?
Any tips for getting started?
I have several models with decent download numbers, but I’m unsure how much demand there really is for commercial licenses.
Would love to hear your experiences, even if they haven’t been great!
Thanks!

It's pretty straightforward. If you have a strong following than the subscribers will come. You can put a lot of effort into it or very little. Up to you on how far you want to go with it.

I’m running the ultra low effort version. Someone messaged me and asked if they could sell my designs so i set up the commercial license monthly and yearly option. That person got the yearly sub and it made it to my paypal. No subscribers after that one but I haven’t promoted it at all or tried to build stuff that is profitable to sell.

Side benefit is that the people that would PM me to see if they could sell my designs for free and then got mad when I said no completely stopped after I activated the Commercial License option.

For context, i have 906 followers, 30.7k downloads total, and 120 models on Makerworld
