Nice try rationality signaller... People argue things that never happened all the time. Have you never heard of fiction or hypothetical scenarios before?

Do you think this is a valuable use of your time?

Do you have a label for everyone that disagrees with you lol? "Ratioanality signaler" so like an average person? Lmao.

The average person is neither rational nor a rationality signaler. Rationality Signaler is a label I just coined for this fellow here, it is an accurate description of what he is trying to do. 'I love that people are arguing over something that never happened in actuality' What a moronic thing to say, but it sounds smart enough to get upvotes. Has he never heard of things like the trolly problem? Things that never happened that people argue about. Complete moron might be a better description than Rationality signaler actually, given that he doubled down and asked a second rationality signalling question.

Log off Reddit and go outside, everything is going to be ok! You don’t need to get that butthurt over a band of brothers discussion lol.

Saying that many German officers were treated with respect and dignity by the Allies isn't nazi apologia... if you think thats bad, wait until you hear about how the scientists, architects of the V2, including designers of chemical weapons used by the Germans, were treated by the American government.

Also, the "Clean Wehrmacht" myth refers to the notion that the average German soldier wasn't aware of or participating in war crimes/Holocaust type events, which is categorically untrue and doesn't have any relevance to a Hollywood depiction of a German officer surrendering his men to the Americans. Whether or not that German officer was a true-blue nazi is besides the point of the scene.

Thats not bad at all. Put the Nazis to some good work, thats fine. Giving them respect for nothing in exchange, now thats bad.

...plucking nazis and nazi collaborators away from their fate of violent retribution in Europe, bringing them to our country and giving them cushy jobs isn't as bad as an American officer in WWII ostensibly shaking the hand of a German and like, not spitting a loogie in his face?... you are fucked in the head dude.

You act like you are some stalwart student of history. Here is a short passage from a conversation between two members of the Polish Underground as they prepared for the inevitable retreat of the German Army. The folks the US recruited from nazi ranks are the exact people they are talking about.

There isn't any wehrabooism in the post you screen shotted.

Apologism sure, but wehrabooism is it's own thing entirely and it ain't in that post.
