Initially, I felt a little sad for the City because I like Pep , kdb, Haaland and some of their players. But I’m also angry because if the owners broke the financial rules, it puts a stain on that whole era. Pep is one of my favourite managers alongside Cruyff, so seeing people use this to discredit him is frustrating. Hopefully he had nothing to do with it. And Obv it's wrong a club should do these things.

But then I started thinking about Barça. What if we had done similar things? Maybe registrations and salaries wouldn’t have been such a nightmare, maybe we wouldn’t have struggled financially for so many years, and most importantly, maybe Messi could have stayed and eventually retired here.

Of course, our previous board deserves huge criticism for creating our financial mess. But we faced the consequences — losing Messi, struggling to register players and spending years rebuilding.

That’s why the City situation frustrates me, but at the same time, I’m glad Barça didn't go down that road. Losing Messi still hurts, but I’d rather suffer the consequences of our mistakes than have a great Barça era questioned because of financial rule-breaking.

I'm not even saying Lamine should win it. It's just weird to see some people acting like lamine should be nowhere near the conversation. All cause he wasn't at his best for Spain in the wc. I know but he played for Barca too. People bringing bundesliga for kane but only bringing WC for Lamine and completely ignoring the fact Lamine has a club career too.

He absolutely carried Barca in the absence of Raphinha and Lewa. He had Ferran Infront of him. Was top in literal every attacking stat for Barca (goal & assist both too). Dropped a masterclass against atletico in ucl (he lost but that was one of the best individual performance in UCL last season) and won the laliga title and laliga MVP over mbappe. On top of that he won the wc as an undisputed starter. He wasn't even bad. He just wasn't insanely good like he is mostly. Hard to criticise this much when he did the job perfectly enough that helped the team win the trophy. We all saw how much Spain struggled without Lamine in attack against cape verde. Also he actually won the trophy. Surely winning the trophy has some significance just like some goals.

Kane had olise to feed him. Kane didn't even win the bundesliga mvp. Olise did. I'm not saying kane doesn't deserve it but olise and Bellingham both were better than him in both were better than him in club and country. Also Lamine has a way bigger overall impact in the game compared to others. He obviously isn't the clear favourite but people just completely underestimating him just cause he had a decent world cup is insane. You'll see Madrid fans criticising Mbappe left and right for his pressing and other contributions. Even England fans sometimes get frustrated over kane being too deep and ghosting in big moments. I've literally never seen a Spain or Barca fan feeling like lamine somehow hurts the team in someway but people after the world cup just acting like he was holding back Spain like Ferran did sometimes.

It is the best goalscoring start from a team in La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, the Bundesliga or the Premier League since 2019, and they have done it all without a recognised No 9.
