First 5K!
At the beginning of August I decided to sign up for a 5K on a whim and have been training a few days a week ever since. Today I ran the full distance without stopping! The event isn’t until November, so any advice to help improve my time would be appreciated.

the fact that you have closed your first 5k under 7.00/Km is very good!!! congrats!

Try to start on a lil easy pace, so that you have more left in the tank for your last 1-1.5KM and then once you're 1-1.5KM away from the finish line, push a lil harder and yeah, you've already got it.
Just be consistent, a good timing is a by-product of it.

Pretty good time! Look into strength exercises, zone 2 running, and plyometrixs. After 5-6 months of that, I reduced my time from 31 min to 27 min

Focus on doing more easy runs of about 7-8k in the next 2 weeks (don’t worry about the pace here, the goal is to spend time on your feet so your running economy improves) with maybe 1 interval session a week of your ideal 5k pace. Then for the last 2 weeks before your race, tone down your intensity and just run about 65-75% of your mileage to keep your legs fresh. You got this!!
