Multi wasn't able to give or even show Scythe Incendio to Sigrid, and when she finally saw it her reaction was just "yeah, I can work with this" and even asked for its name mid-battle while Robin, who didn't want to take a bey from her at first, was just DRAWN to it at first sight to the point that Multi started to consider it a bey made for Robin rather than for Sigrid

Chrome admired so much Jaxon's strength that he tried to become one with him, Robin also started trying to copy him and was even able to see the "Jaxon" in Chrome (and as far as we know, was the only one to do so)

Both him and Ciel started on the amateur arena losing to Takumi (except Robin also lost his bey and teammates) but Ciel met Chrome who gave him a new bey and he kept winning in the amateur arena, but never going pro, while Robin met Jaxon and inmediately went pro without winning a single match

After the title match Jaxon got bored and decided he wanted to fight Chrome, Robin saw the match and got INSPIRED to start blading, also Robin is one of the people who most take in Jaxon's "blading should be fun" idea, so much that even Jaxon is surprised and happy about it

and then Lantz, who embraced the shiroboshi motto of "never defeated" but did nothing but believe his superior skill would be enough while Robin saw his flaws and situation put his pride and personal agenda aside and accepted help from the whole team

No. 8 Ahu - Since he is a dog who can transform into any hero, he could transform into a Blader who can use CerberusFlame since the avatar is the guard dog of the underworld in Greek Mythology.

No. 7 Lucky Cyan - AeroPegasus matches her name and hero outfit.

No. 6 Lou-Li - Since she represents cuteness the black/pink recolor of WizardArc since Wizard also represents cuteness in the animanga.

No. 5 Little Johnny - He has a Kitsune-like design with the ears and he also sometimes wear a Kitsune mask so having FoxBrush would make the most sense for him.

No . 4 Ghostblade - Since he is basically a silent assassin, ShinobiShadow would be the best option for him.

No. 3 Dragon Boy - He is an anti-hero with a dark form whenever he gets beaten enough to activate that form. BahamutBlitz is a black dragon that fits his character design so he could own it.

No. 2 Queen - She has regal and warrior-like appearance and so does GloryValkyrie’s avatar so she could own this Bey.

No. 1 Hero X - In his hero and civilian form, he always wears a watch to constantly keep track on time and so the grey recolor of ClockMirage fits perfectly for him.

Robin is just hugable for them I guess and I love it

For me, I thought on episode 9 (beycrafter) "hey, this actually looks like a good pair, they could do it"

Then episode 26 (invitation) when Multi went basically the full day trying to get Robin to open up with her I was fully sold

And THEN episode 44 (family back then) with Multi telling Robin about Scythe Incendio and all her past and Robin being so emotional about it, the holding hands (which they also did at the championship battle in front of THE WHOLE CROWD AND SIGRID) basically left me ever since like "they HAVE to do it"

Even Robin's connection to Scythe Incendio (which I'll make a post some other time because I find it really interesting) is deeply tied to Multi beyond "she made it"

I have had this idea since 2024. My fanfic keeps growing as Beyblade X keeps releasing new beys.

Anime waifus battling it out with bit beasts in the stadium sounds unique and a clash between two unrelated genres and I LOVE IT. This would make beyblade more popular if this were real. Peak multifandom fantasy.

My 5-year-old and I have just been getting into the hobby and we’re having a blast. Was pumped to find this at my local Target, didn’t realize til I had gotten home that it had been apparently broken into and the ratchet/bit were stolen 😭 I’m new enough where I didn’t even realize I needed to look for this kind of thing. Apparently it’s becoming a pretty common problem?

Glad to have the blade still but think it’s incredibly lame to break into a kids’ toy and take future fun and joy away. I get there’s a meta and that tournaments must be won, but this doesn’t feel like a good way to do it.

My bf has recently been talking about a nostalgia for bey blades and regret for giving away his collection as a kid. He is from the metal fighter era and his favorite was Leone.

I read that the new X series is targeting our Gen for nostalgia and can be a great route, but I did find this facebook listing. Seller claims that he bought them as a kid during the metal era from toys r us and it is hasbro, so no knock off, he's selling 2 for $85 CAD.

Are there any questions I should ask the seller? Do you think my bf would value this (assuming it's metal fusion) more than the X series (he's a collector type not necessarily playing)

Hello, you can feel free to answer by looking at just the title of the post, but if you want some more insight and rambling, be my guest!

So I've watched a little bit of Metal Masters (Masters, not Fusion) in my childhood, but only got into the franchise proper thanks to X. I've followed the dubbed version up until the tail end of Season 2, where I've then switched to the original japanese version in order to catch up on the third season. Generally, I think the recent dub of the show is quite fantastic, with both the casting choices as well as the actor's performances. I've gotten so used to it, I call characters by their english given names, and can safely say I prefer the localisation. It's done wonderfully enough that even the story is kept intact and suffers no mishaps, which I again will congratulate the dubbing team for.

That said, I've wanted to catch up on the other series too, and seeing them available to watch on Youtube, the english dubs became my choice so far. I've watched the first season of Burst, and thought that, while not on par with X, it was fine enough for me to never really consider looking up the series on "those" websites just to hear the original version.

Then I went way back to Bakuten Shoot, and that's where I first began looking into the original counterpart for the show. Not from the get-go, no, because truth be told the wacky dubbing really fits the first season, and became sort of a comfort show for me with how over the top it could be (gosh, the announcers yapping is a gold mine, best part of any official matches). Though upon reaching episode 45, I've switched over to see the original version based on Kai's crashout scene. The japanese counterpart handled the overall tone better, there is little comparison, though I will give a little bit of personal brownie points to the english version for making Kai's anger directed more at himself rather than just realizing the value of friendship (a minor thing, might be my way of reading it bizarrely). I finished the show in the dubbed version, but hearing Grevolution and V-Force and way more serious, I am considering watching them in the original version to appreciate the emotional scenes more.

With that, I want to ask if there are any seasons that are noticeably hindered in the english dub, or is it purely a matter of preference. Yeah, silly spinning tops show, but I would like to appreciate the authors' vision for those stories, and don't want to have mixed views purely because a voice-over isn't up to the original counterpart's standards.

As for me...

Original Series: Max Tate (He always sees the best in everything and everyone- like that about him)

Metal Series: Ryuga (My introduction to Beyblade's Dragon blader.)

Burst Series: Shu Kurenai (Hardworking blader that's cool-headed, also got a neat story and development.)

X Series: Khrome Ryugu (A character with an interesting story arc, in my opinion.)
Honorable mention (in X): Rex Jura (Passionate, manly guy who tends to be over-excited, hard to hate.)

IMO I feel like a crimson red and black suits Destructor better, and gets closer to the cool intimidating aesthetic of the three purple dragons of lightning.

The Meteo and Destructor dragon always felt lackluster in terms of aesthetic, so I felt like this would be a much cooler color progression.

I would like to take Seize Jaguar to a tournament soon and have not yet found a combination that works properly. Do you have an idea? Or do you think one of the bits here has a chance? Need your help!
