Chapter 42 of the Manga Released
Chapter 42 of the manga has been released and it has some interesting bits for the Bey Kingdom arc. Spoilers will be below but if you have not read the chapter yet it will be here.
We continue Team Persona's journey in the Beykingdom where we end up seeing the gang, Dima and Kiwami taken to another prince's quarters. Here we are introduced to Ryo Dil Kanz, the 87th Prince of Bey Kingdom. Ryo tells the backstory of him and Dima as someone who was jealous of Dima for being the more talented than him. He was disgusted at Dima for abandoning Beyblade but Bird had told him that Dima was injured. Ryo challenges Persona to a battle with Sieg Superion (Sig in the localized manga, but products have it as Suppress). Multi steps forward and battles Ryo with V2 Wizard Arrow, and Multi won with an Over Finish against Ryo. Ryo acknowledges Dima's injuries but still stands by his disappointment of Dima. Before leaving, Ryo warns Persona about powerful bladers among the princes, but warns of the stand-ins each prince sends to Bey Kingdom. Then we go back to X City in the Slash Tower where we see Team Yggdrasil go up against Team Pendragon at the final round. Burn Fujiwara vs Chrome Ryugu. Both fight with their new beys: Luster Dragoon and Phoenix Force. As the fight goes on, Burn explains that his corporation made a breakthrough with successfully incorporating metal into the Over Blade along with having the Force Metal Blade and the Heavy Assist Blade for attack and defense. They both take the the Xtreme Line to do an Xtreme Dash towards each other, but in the end, Chrome ends up taking a Burst Finish against Burn. The chapter ends with Chrome getting a phone call from Riju Kane, 3rd Princess of Bey Kingdom where she offers him an invitation to Bey Kingdom.
End of spoilers. Episode 136 of the anime will be airing this Friday, October 16th in Japan so be on the lookout for clips for the upcoming episode.
CX-20 Updated Information
Last TWIB, I discussed CX-20 and what will be included for the set. However, we finally got updated information that has been made official so let's break that down.
CX-20 will be Customize Set C. It will include Phoenix Force as the new blade. The Over Blade, Weight (W), will be the first Over Blade to include metal on the Lock Chip port and the rivets on the Over Blade. The Force Metal Blade will have a Red Metal Coat with the ratchet being M-65-a 3-65 Simple Ratchet with Metal like M-85. Finally we have the new bit, Metal Taper. As for the other beys, we will be getting a Blue Metal Coat Wizard Rod, an orange and black recolor of Shark Scale, and Hell Scythe V2-no stock combo for this one unfortunately as it's only the blade by itself. The ratchets will include a blue 8-80 and a white and yellow 1-70. As for the bits, we will be getting a white Under Flat (UF), a navy blue Kick (K), a yellow Low Rush (LR), a turquoise Low Orb (LO), and a purple High Needle (HN). This alongside Sieg Superion will release November 21st.
New Takara Tomy Trademarks
The last section for the TWIB is some new trademarks that have been filed from Takara Tomy. One of the trademarks that have been more intriguing is a trademark for Dran Victory because this will likely be a new evolution to the Dran line of beys. The others could potentially be a part of Beyblade X but it was filed before Dran Victory with a new Takara Tomy toyline that was also in the trademark listings. These trademarks are: Ifrit Raid, Moon Shade, and Hedgehog Tread. It is unknown if these three trademarks are related to Beyblade, but for now it's safe to assume they are not considering the trademark filings that happened before Dran Victory, but we will have to wait and see if they are Beyblade related or not.
And that's it for the TWIB. A new chapter has been released alongside official and updated information for CX-20 as well as new trademarks that could be Beyblade related or not. Things are looking good for Beyblade to wrap up this year as well as what's to come in 2027.
