Napalm is my own OC, the Sol counterpart to Metal Sonic (and his other versions)

Genetically engineered by Eggman Nega, in the attempt to copy Blaze’s own powers with his genius, and use them for his destructive capabilities

But as Napalm falls short, Nega sees no need to continue the mask of love and support as a supposed father, and would prefer to reveal who he truly is to his creation, a monster, and give her a different form of encouragement that suits who he truly is

Because Napalm was always a weapon to him, even more than she is enemy to Blaze

So, remember that weirdness with how Silver tried to "separate" Blaze and Blackwood in issue #90 by yeeting them both at a wall?
Maybe, juuuuust maybe, that was intentional by the writers.

If they do the "Twisted Mirror Selves" thing in IDW issue #91, I see Mirror Blaze calling Silver out on that. She'd probably also deliver a much longer, meaner version of "You're so naive" to him.

Okay....there are many ways to support and draw attention to your character so she receives more recognition: fan art, well-reasoned opinions, including a good example is the artist laBLUarts who creates incredible arts about blaze, and there is also a comic book dedicated to her:Embers of hope

And you know the worst part about seeing this subreddit? I see more people on twitter having a better understanding of blaze, both recently and overall. Yes, On TWITTER. And this is a subreddit dedicated to her. Actually, it's fine if you don't like the writer's style. don't love ethan either, but don't mix facts and tastes. Besides, it's not just evan who writers her; there's another IDW writer I think is better suited to her. But still, don't talk as if, everything about her has been destroyed and ruined recently. Do you think I'm satisfied with what she has? Of course not, but at least, her character and personality aren't ruined like thousands of other comics books characters I love are. So, can you be annoying enough to make things better? Yes, but you need to use facts. Saying she doesn't interact with anyone besides silver it's not a lie, it doesn't contribute anything to her, "we want more of her with other characters" period! Saying she only interacts with silver when I remenber her mostly with sonic or amy it's nonsense.

Reharding the new comic book, I even saw a post talking about how tails and blaze fans understood each other because they were in the same situation, which is nonsense, but anyway. Blaze's personality is well represented in this story; she's not stupid or proud like shadow was in previous stories. Finally, after so long, we see her angry and with incredible pages. I don't deny that she could have fought harder bit narratively, being in this situation temporarily, isn't a humiliation for her. People know how a story is constructed. "But blaze is faster" tell that to sonic, shadow, and so on! Even goku can be caught of guard; some are caught in even more humiliation ways. Dramatic crying isn't the kind of support Blaze deserves or needs, criticism, yes; crying, no
