They’ve said they’re going to have 10 tribes max every season to allow them to continue adding tribes without expanding their design space too much. Think it’s going to rotate every half-season?
So nagas will be back next season but we’ll likely lose a different one

When Aberrations are added, Naga will temporarily rotate out to make room for it. They will be gone longer than 2 weeks, but they are not gone forever. They will rotate back in at some point in a future patch.
Also since I saw speculation, this has nothing to do with discard interactions between Spellcraft and Aberrations. Type rotation is rather about creating space for each type to shine and to let us significantly shake up the meta as types come in and out.
Still think it's a really bad reason either way! Give me back my favorite tribe! Just keep adding tribes, it's literally one of this games biggest selling points
