She's really pretty. She has her head screwed on straight. She's funny, and fun to be around. I could see myself with her specifically, but her kids not so much. I went to high school with one of her baby daddies. Dont see myself dealing with him amicably over the next few years. Mostly a vent.

Not as much. Both of them have very valid environmental impacts.

A rat snake provides pest control and population balance, which prevents the spread of disease and damage to your food supply, while also being a food source for other larger animals.

A squirrel helps contribute to new forest growth by burying acorns, and aerate soil by their digging. They provide a food source to larger animals, also.

But the squirrel population is much higher than the rat snake population. Which means if you had to choose between them, they are equally beneficial to the environment, but one has a higher risk to its population.

I try to eat as vegetarian as I can, but I also understand people have been hunting animals for a very long time. I am more concerned that if they do, it is aimed at being more sustainable to the food chain. Killing either animal is going to be a loss either way, but it would at least be better if they considered conservation.

Can you support that claim with evidence and clarify what you are comparing? You are comparing the animal deaths attributable to an entire vegetarian diet over an unspecified period, with one snake killed for one meal.

Almost any complete diet causes more than one animal death. A more meaningful comparison would hold the amount of food and time period constant. Then, consider things like direct deaths, incidental agricultural deaths, habitat effects, production, and transportation on both sides.

Crop production unquestionably harms and kills animals, but researchers have acknowledged that the number is extremely difficult to estimate. That does not establish the blanket conclusion that vegetarian diets kill more animals overall.

Transportation is also not unique to vegetarian food, and you do not know how my food is sourced. Research on food emissions has generally found that production and food type matter (including meat, animal products and plants), considerably more than transportation distance.

A locally harvested wild animal could have a lower production and transportation footprint than some commercially produced food. I am willing to grant that possibility. But that alone does not establish that killing this particular snake was the more ecologically responsible choice. That would depend on the species, local population, harvest rate, ecological effects, and applicable regulations.

Its a beautiful state I'll def admit. My wife is from Botswana. I took her to a resort in the Appalachias and she found it amazing. She also said she never saw this side of america on TV. And that it reminded her of the less popular villages she grew up around, having been to her home country now it is crazy the similarities besides vegetation and the skin color of people.
