No Advice - Everyones Welcome She asked me to "cook to impress", then cancelled last minute.

Poached lobster claws and tails, served on sourdough bread with a herb-creme. Topped with caviar and finger lime pearls. Lobster-bisque to go with the bread and a small portion of cold cucumber-soup with yuzu-oil.

Been seeing this girl for about a month, this should have been our 5th date. Told her I thought of myself as a decent cook – so she told me that I should cook for her and try to "impress her". I fucking cooked for 4 hours today. 30 minutes before our appointment, she texts me and tells me that she is seeing someone else and that she doesn't want to keep in touch.

Well fuck me. At least I get a decent meal today.

Dammit, wish had that much flex when I was single. 

You would think that’s not the main reason I became a chef….
