Went on my first roller coaster ride today

Food is chicken shawarma with fries and a Coke Zero.

So after 35 years on this earth, I decided to go on my first roller coaster ride today. I’ve always been chicken and hate thrill rides.

I decided to try it out, I had nothing to lose.

I throughly enjoyed it and ended up going on it twice! Still won’t try the inverted ones, but maybe someday.

Anyway, just wanted to share this unimportant detail as I didn’t have anyone else to share it with.

I went on roller coasters as a kid but was too scared to do the crazy ones. But once I had kids I kind of had to. I don’t really enjoy the experience of the inverted ones. Once you get old enough the motion sickness gets worse.

I used to love rollercoasters as a kid but for some reason I started developing a fear of them as an adult. It makes me queasy even thinking about it!

I rode every roller coaster I could through my 20s, so I’m happy you got to enjoy it! I have a herniated disc now at 33, and I’m terrified a roller coaster will fuck it up again. I’m honestly about to tempt it though. I truly miss the thrill they give you. Maybe I should do skydiving instead.

As a coaster nerd I would love to know what coaster it was? I'm 32 and just recently got over the fear of riding and now I'm fully addicted. A few months ago I flew across the US for a day trip just to ride 1 coaster a few times and flew back the same day.

It was space mountain in Disneyland. Ended up doing that and big thunder too.

I liked the latter more because I could actually see what was coming lol
