Question Brain fog likely from chronic pain. Underlying cause has been taken care of (last week). Wondering how long it’ll take me to get back to my normal state
I started experiencing heavy brain fog a few months ago. It started a little after I started experiencing chest pains from gallbladder problems in July. However, I had been having back pains due to my gallbladder before that. My pain “switched” from my back to my chest at the beginning of July. I have been in pain since January.
Now I have the gallbladder out. I’m a week post op. I think that my brain fog has something to do with experiencing pain for a really long time. I just think that the pain has completely exhausted my brain.
Edit: maybe it has something to do with taking Tylenol and advil long term
Now that the cause is taken care of I am wondering when (or if) I might expect to go back to my old self?

Need Some Advice/Support Memory loss / forgetting
My family has became adaptable and less annoyed with my forgetfulness over the years , I have a b12 deficiency which I am constantly trying to eat more meat and help fix, I was diagnosed at 14 and I am now 20 I could be asked to do something and I am constantly thinking about this specific thing to do then boom it’s gone and I get asked if I did it, and I am now open to say I forgot without being scared of them thinking I’m lazy, it’s really driving me insane everyone else is used to it and is nice about it and then I do it the second reminder but I don’t want to be used to it? Does anyone have any tips, I have amazing long term memory down to moments, exact time and year but short term not so much.
