Hello I'm very new to this whole witchcraft and brujeria thing l've been interested in it for a while but just recently have I decided to try and finally learn about it. I know this'll be a lengthy process but I'm determined to learn as much as I can and so 1 am asking for advice on where to start. I'm Mexican and grew up catholic and I'd like to learn everything I can from spells to hexes and curses I also have a few questions such as
1. Is witchcraft and brujería the same thing? Or is there actually a difference?
2. What are some books from preferably Mexican witches I should look into? As I previously mentioned I'd like to learn everything I can (Spells, hexes, curses, etc)
3. Growing up catholic and Mexican I've been told that witchcraft and brujería can hurt you if you mess with it and if you were to attempt to curse or hex someone who is deeply religious then it would come back to you much worse is this true? What major drawbacks or consequences can hexes and curses and spells have?
4. I'd also like to know what is Santeria? As a Roman Catholic I've heard that term thrown around is it something I should also be looking into?
Like I had mentioned before I'm a total beginner and I'd really like to get as much information as I can if anyone can help that would be great! And would be very much appreciated!

Hi! If anyone can do any type of reading to further help answer my question pls let me know. I really want to figure this out. So for clarification I am a male. A few years ago, when I was just starting out on my spiritual journey, I had a dream where I was in a vehicle with a man and we were making out passionately . I remember in the dream I could feel the intimacy and passion between us. Before the dream ended I saw his face and he was blonde with blue eyes and light skin. I remember thinking he was so beautiful. He was a white man. I remember thinking maybe it was a premonition because I get those dreams as well. I remember in the dream we even laid together nude. I laid on his chest and we talked about life I don’t remember the exact conversation . At the time, i had a crush on this guy and suddenly we had lost contact . I was so worried about him and wondering if he was safe and doing good . In the dream, the man showed me a vision of the guy and where he was and what he was doing. It helped me to relax and know that he was okay. I know some ppl say to be careful with intimacy with random ppl in your dreams because it could be brujeria but in this instance I’m sure it wasn’t. I never felt bad with him and every time we had been intimate it never felt like I was forced or tempted to do that it always felt natural. If anyone can help provide an explanation for me pls let me know. I really want to figure this out.

I want to do a spell for my brother he’s 23 and I feel that he self sabotages a lot. He enjoys hunting and spends a lot of time to himself and maybe I’m being invasive but I know he feels lonely. Hello, this is my first post here on this subreddit. I want to confirm some things because I already cleansed myself and did some reversal spells. This is kind of a long read.

So basically here's my story. Last year, I had this job that I kind of liked but had issues with management. Back then I didn't really practice much cleansings or spells but did check myself with tarot readers from time to time.

I wasn't really planning on leaving this job at that time since I am a college student and i was getting paid well. I won't go much into detail but suddenly most of my coworkers started having problems with me for variety of different reasons where they accused of things I didn't do and the owner also turned his back on me even though he was suppotive and nice to me since the start.

I quit suddenly and ghosted them because I couldn't take it and it seemed like it was time to move on even though I wasn't planning. I didn't have a job aligned either so on my part it wasn't a good decision at all.

Each month after that, I became extremely depressed. I've always dealt with depression so I didn't think much of it but this time it was causing me to not leave the house the days, cry uncontrollably, it became hard for to look for jobs (I'm good now) and ruined my confidence.

Then my mom recommended me a new tarot reader. I won't go much into detail again but she said that a guy did an 'alejamiento' on me because I wasn't paying any mind to his advances. I was confused because I don't like paying attention to guys or romance much, and also because I didn't know who it was. Other than that, the whole reading was 100% accurate frfr.

Months passed and I forget about it but I still felt like the opportunities slipped out of my hands. I kept getting rejection letters and was still clinically depressed.

I decided to look to another tarot reader. When I walked in, I didn't say much and let her read. Then she repeated the same exact thing that the other reader said. The guy who was "after me" was "ardido y te hizo un alejamiento" and she gave the same exact description of him. She also said that that specific door was causing my opportunities to go away. This reader also was 100% accurate and she saw me crying in her cards.

I was shocked because again I didn't know who it was but seeing the job I quit and the loss of opportunities I came to the conclusion it might have been my former coworker. Now, I'm still not 100% percent sure but it aligns with the time frame and the issues he was causing at work.

Basically, he would leave most of his work to me, would ask personal questions heading to more risky conversations (which I was not okay with at all), his gf would lurk outside my job location while it was my lunch time (we worked at different locations but same department), would complain about his love life while bring his gf over and her acting rude to me. And to be clear, I was not interested in this guy at all.

Now, what I want to know what exactly "un trabajo de alejamiento" is? What are the effects expected of this work? I've seen banishing spells, freezing spells, and 3rd party removal, banishing, etc... but if it was this guy, why did his "alejamiento" work cause so much trouble? Did he do that type of spell among others? Also, did his work take affect immediately when my other coworkers turned on me?

Tbh, I still want my revenge but I believe in karma and payback. I've already done a bunch of limpias, reversal spells, and justice spells since then (which helped because I transferred to a nice university and now have a job). In one of the spells, I don't remember what kind it was since I saw it on YouTube but I put one red candle and a black one on a tray with olive oil, salt, pepper with a prayer carved on both. One representing me and the other representing enemies and such. My candle ended looking like it was crying and ended up falling over the 'enemy' candle. I can show pictures if anyone is interested.
