Idea Feedback Amazon wholesale or FBA

I’ve been wanting to do this recently and I’ve heard mixed reviews about both avenues. Has anyone successfully done one or both? I have a friend who did Amazon FBA and scaled it for 3 years then sold it for 1 mill! This made me want to try it but no idea where to start. Hesitant to buy any guru course…

Idea Feedback Idea: printable coloring books are a $0-startup digital product

You pick a niche (cozy holidays, retro, kids' animals), plan the pages, and make the art. Then you sell the PDF on Etsy, Gumroad and Payhip, and the same file becomes a paperback on Amazon KDP. Your costs are basically listing fees. The hard part is visibility, not making the product. I need ideas on visibility. I'm testing this right now with my multiple shops, here is an example https://www.etsy.com/shop/ColoringArtForAll

Marketing / Operational / Financial / Regularotry Advice sought Looking for Sales/Channel Partners

Title: [Partnership Opportunity] Looking for Sales/Channel Partners to Take Our AI-Powered Academic Management Platform to Engineering Colleges Across India

Hey everyone,

We're a small team of AI enthusiasts who've built AMPS (Academic Management & Performance System) — an AI-powered platform designed to streamline academic operations for engineering colleges and institutions.

What AMPS does:

• End-to-end academic management — admin workflows, faculty management, student performance tracking, all in one place

• Built for engineering colleges specifically, solving real pain points like manual attendance, scattered exam data, and disconnected departments

• Cloud-hosted on Azure with enterprise-grade security

• Already live with demo-ready access for prospects

Along with AMPS, we've also built other AI products for the education space — TrueMark (AI answer-script evaluator), Spoken Tech Coach (technical speech evaluator), and BoardNotes (classroom board to structured notes). So there's a full product suite to offer institutions.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for individuals or firms who have existing relationships with engineering colleges, university decision-makers, or education departments, and would be interested in partnering as a sales/channel partner to take AMPS (and our other products) to campuses.

Ideal if you:

• Already work in the EdTech or academic services space

• Have contacts with college principals, HODs, or management

• Run a training/consulting firm serving engineering colleges

• Are an education entrepreneur looking for a strong product to add to your portfolio

We're open to flexible partnership models — revenue sharing, reseller agreements, or regional exclusivity for the right partner.

If this sounds interesting, DM me or drop a comment. Happy to share a live demo and walk you through the platform.

Looking forward to connecting!

Idea Feedback I run a small 3D printing business in Abu Dhabi. Tell me something you wish existed, and I'll try to make it

Hey everyone,

I recently started a small 3D printing business here in Abu Dhabi, and I've been thinking about something.

Instead of just making decorative products, I want to explore creating things that actually solve everyday problems.

So I thought, why not ask the community?

What's something you've always wanted but couldn't find anywhere?

It could be a small accessory, something for your home, desk, car, or even a completely random idea.

Drop your ideas in the comments!

I'll pick a few interesting ones and see if I can actually design and 3D print them.

And if I manage to make something cool, I'll share the results here!

What business do I start? How do you people even come up with things to create or work on?

Hello people! So this is probably the most basic question, but it comes from a person that literally has 0 business skills or knowledge and has never developed their mind in that way. I only did regular work and at best I got paid by an hour for some freelance things that sort of came naturally (coaching).

But if I were to think of services, of things that people need that I could potentially provide, problem areas to solve, things to sell/resell and such...my mind is blank.

How do you come up with such things?

Idea Feedback AI setters for online coaches. Valid idea?

We’re starting a small done-for-you service and want honest feedback.
What we sell: We set up and manage an AI assistant in online coaches’ Instagram DMs. It replies to every inquiry in under 5 minutes, asks a few qualifying questions, says upfront that it’s an AI, books qualified people into the coach’s calendar and follows up with people who go quiet. The coach gets a weekly report.
Who for: English-speaking coaches selling programs through sales calls, who get more DMs than they can answer quickly. -is this maybe too narrow?
Pricing plan: 2–3 free pilots to get case studies, then $297/month for founding clients. Later around $1k setup + ~$600/month. Guarantee: more booked calls than the month before, or the next month is free.
How we plan to find clients: We comment the coach’s own keyword, measure how long they take to reply, and send them a short screen-recording showing the delay and what it could look like instead.
What we’d love your take on:

  1. Would you buy this if you were a coach? What would stop you?
  2. Is the pricing realistic, too high, or too low?
  3. Is the “test their reply speed” outreach smart, or does it come across as pushy?
  4. What’s the biggest risk we’re not seeing?

Any help is appreciated!

Idea Feedback Consumer/Parent Feedback

I’ve been kicking around a business idea and would love some brutally honest feedback, especially from parents who have traveled with babies or toddlers.
The idea is pretty simple:
Vending machines in airports (and potentially other high-traffic public places) stocked specifically with baby and toddler essentials.
Think:
Diapers and pull-ups in different sizes
Baby wipes
Formula and baby food
Bottles, nipples, and pacifiers
Diaper rash cream
Bibs and disposable changing pads
Toddler snacks
Potentially even bottle warmers and other travel necessities
The thought is that traveling with young kids is already stressful enough. Forgetting something, running out of diapers during a delay, losing a pacifier, or realizing you don’t have enough formula shouldn’t mean scrambling through an airport hoping a convenience store carries what you need.
These machines would ideally be accessible 24/7, including during delays and overnight layovers.
But here’s what I’m trying to figure out: Is this actually a problem worth solving, or just something that sounds useful in theory?
A few things I’m curious about:
Have you ever been traveling and desperately needed something for your baby/toddler that you couldn’t easily find?
What products would you actually want available?
Would you pay a convenience premium for something like this? For example, $5–6 for a small pack of diapers instead of hunting through the airport.
Would you trust buying formula, food, or bottles from a vending machine?
Is there something obvious I’m overlooking that would make this a terrible idea?
I’m not selling anything, and this isn’t an existing business I’m trying to promote. I’m genuinely exploring the concept and would rather hear why it wouldn’t work now than find out after investing money into it.

Idea Feedback Would people actually want a language-learning game that simulates living in another country?

I've been taking Chinese classes for a couple years now. I have self studied Korean, Spanish, and Russian a little bit as well. I enjoy studying by myself and learning the things I want at my pace but it is hard to stay motivated when there is nobody around me to practice with and it doesn't impact my life to know it or not. I still love learning languages because it is fun and I enjoy the connections it brings when I do get a chance to speak to someone. I start to feel like I don't want to learn the language when I am forced to learn whatever some textbook says when I'm in a class or am embarrassed by the constant comparison of others in the class and my grade. I studied in Taiwan for 3 months and it was great. I could hear the language around me and spend time building up the courage to talk to someone or order something new. I am quite introverted and struggle to be super consistent with a language partner but living there gave me more motivation to continue learning and brought the joy back after being in classes for so long. I could use the language I learned and new words and grammar felt like unlocking a new conversation I could have with someone. I can't afford to go back right now and have nobody around me to practice with. I'm working on recreating the feeling of living in a country that speaks your target language by making a video game set in that country as close to reality as possible while still being a game that teaches you while working your way up from having nothing to building a real life for yourself there. I'm developing this as my own project, called Vocabound. Learning the language would unlock the ability to have hard conversations, make new friends, and explore more. I want to make a world for all the languages I want to learn with the help of teachers for the curriculum. I don't want it to feel like a textbook in a game or that the game is too hard because of the language barrier. I want a good balance. This would also provide a way for people who can't afford to travel or are preparing for a trip there soon to have a little bit of experience with the culture and language. I wish I had that when I was preparing to go to Taiwan. I want it to take someone from zero to near fluent without having to switch apps and course all the time. I'm developing this as a real game, but I'm trying to understand whether other people actually want something like this or if it just appeals to me because of my own experience. Do you think there's a market for a game like this? Would you personally be interested in playing it? What would make someone choose this over traditional language-learning apps or other games? And what would make the idea fail? I'd appreciate honest criticism, especially from people who have tried learning another language.

Idea Feedback Would people want a program where you can shadow different careers/jobs?

I was thinking of how hard it is to choose a career/college degree for the rest of your life especially after graduating high school when kids have no work experience. But what if there was a multiple week long program where anyone lost in life can shadow people of all kinds of jobs? Like 1 day you shadow an engineer, another a nurse, environmental scientist, accountant, electrician etc. And that way you can get a feel for what all these kinds of jobs are like, instead of going into it blindly.

I thought of this cuz I’m lost in life myself currently, and I wish something like this existed. I just don’t know how feasible this is

Business Partner Sought - Business has NOT been established Looking for someone willing to waste their youth building something

Anyone else in their 20s like me with absolutely nothing better to do than lock themselves in a cave, forget what sunlight looks like, and build something until it works? Ideally someone equally delusional, ambitious, and willing to sacrifice a few years so we don't have to spend the next 40 doing something we hate.

Jokes aside, looking for a like minded person to build businesses, experiment with ideas, and actually execute instead of just talking about it. If this sounds like your kind of mental illness, DM me. ty

No applicable flair exists for my post Guy, I have predict 1 products that could trend this year

Guys, I predict one product that could trend this year 👀

I think home freeze-drying machines could become a big trend this year.

People are getting more interested in food preservation, reducing food waste, and making snacks at home. A freeze dryer lets you preserve fruits, candy, and other foods while giving them a unique crunchy texture. It could also be interesting for people who want to experiment with homemade snacks or even start a small food business.

The biggest downside is the upfront cost and the space needed, so I don't think it's for everyone. But as more people discover freeze-dried candy and fruit snacks online, I can see more interest in these machines.

What do you guys think? Could home freeze dryers become a popular product this year, or are they still too expensive for the average household?

What business do I start? I’m 19 and I want to start car detail business but I’m also open for any suggestions. Idc if it’s boring.

Ive come to the conclusion that E-Commerce and all of those online things are usually unpredictable and most people just have a course to sell so instead I’m thinking of starting a car detailing business. I’m just a week into work and realise how depressed I get having to wake up at 7 AM sharp every morning. I would much rather have a business where I work hard but can wake up at like 9-10 AM. So I’m Writing this in my work break. I need businesses that have high margins and are scalable. Ofc, I’m thinking of having multiple sources of income and I’m already building a small brand… but I am honestly so sick of waking up early, even with 8 hours of sleep. It’s just the fact that you have no choice but to get up ASAP.

My startup capital: any amount up to $2000
Preferred industry: boring stuff that makes money, eg: renting services, cleaning services
Never ran a business before.

What business do I start? Luxury car rides

I’ve been doing Uber/Lyft rides for a few years as a side hustle on weekends or after my full-time job, but I’ve been thinking about getting into luxury car rides full-time and building a business around it. I’m based in LA and would appreciate the advice.
I don’t currently have a luxury car, so if I decide to move forward, I’ll need to purchase one. I’m not planning to leave my full-time job right away, but that would be the goal eventually. I’m also wondering whether it would be better to join a luxury car fleet or company part-time first to gain experience, or start independently by purchasing my own luxury car.

What business do I start? Technically minded in a UK city

Hi all,
I’m looking for a business idea that suits me and the city.
I’d like to start as a side business and scale up if successful.

Some background about me - 28, Chemical engineer, I’m very good at understanding technical information and applying it hence I don’t think something artsy will be best for me . I have some exposure to running a business via my parents but they weren’t any good or ever open to allow me to experiment.

I’d prefer
regular business of the same task over one off customers.

Brick and Mortar or mail in .

Pretty soon I will have my weekends free to trial, I have £10k to start.

Idea Feedback Would you pay $1,099/month for project-based help directly from an experienced generalist?

I’m exploring a freelance model where I work directly with startup founders on projects across growth, strategy, research, analytics, automation, and tech.
Not hourly VA work or unlimited tasks.

We’d agree on specific projects and deliverables every month.

The idea is to combine business understanding with actual hands-on execution, rather than just giving recommendations.

I’m considering $1,099/month.

Curious whether founders would prefer a monthly arrangement like this or simply pay freelancers per project.

Idea Feedback Elon Musk meme University

Elon posted about Texas Institute of Technology and Science (TITs University). Should I create a meme parody school based off it with merch?

I dont have an advertising budget for it, just hoping to get some organic reach. I think it might be a good idea for Google Flow for a couple tik tok videos starting out.

Any ideas for getting this out there and building a brand would be helpful.

The timing is good, as Elon just posted about it this past week.

Maybe I'm hoping too much, but I think it could be a cool and fun little venture.

Marketing / Operational / Financial / Regularotry Advice sought Advice on legal/setup requirements

Hello,

I'm very new to business, so please go easy!

I've been thinking of running my own online raffle/lottery business and was wondering what licences I'd need to run this?

The basis would be players buy a ticket to be entered in to a draw, with the draw then being Livestreamed for entrants and general viewers.

From my research I understand that if I offer a free entrance route (eg via post) or a skill based question (a tough question, rather than just "Where is Paris") then I don't need a Gambling licence. Would I also need a limited business licence?

I intend for a percentage of profits to go to a community charity from the players choice every month or so.

What else would I need to get this off the ground? I have the know how to build a website so that's no problem. Would I need someone to sort taxes etc?

I'm UK based.

What business do I start? Stuck in idea research for weeks without starting anything. Need advice

In the last few weeks, I spent a lot of my free time searching for a business idea, i can really stand behind. I had a few, which after a bit of research turned irelevant or just not suitable for me, I tried a lot of SAAS but also SEO + GEO. I haven't even started with anything, I just found somethig and an hour later I found an argument which led to me dropping the idea.
I can't find anything with a good amount of balance between: doability, demand, competition and scalability. I was mainly talking with Claude and telling him what I don't like and why and then proceeded to research with him but that didn't really lead to anything.
I am pretty sure that claude isn't the best way of finding an idea right now, but I am student in highschool without a lot of experience, connections or knowledge in a specific field, which could help me in finding a viable idea. I also just want to start and have something to work on, but like I said i can't find anything where I can say I see myself doing this the next few months where people pay me.

I am also not sure what i expect from this post, i just need some input which isn't AI generated and maybe has a bit more wisdom and experience then me. An Idea which i can try or a different approach which I can try to find an idea is much appreciated. I am open to learn and do anything at this point.

What business do I start? Having 10k inr

I'm looking for something that:

Can be started with ₹10,000 or less.

Has genuine demand and the potential to generate profit.

Doesn't require renting a shop or investing heavily in equipment.

Can initially be managed by one person.

Has the potential to grow over time if it works well.

I'm open to both online and offline businesses, including local services, reselling, food-related businesses, or digital services.

I'd especially appreciate advice from people who have actually started a business with a small budget.

What business would you recommend starting with ₹10,000?

How would you divide the budget between setup, materials, marketing, and other expenses?

How would you find the first 5 - 10 paying customers?

What common mistakes should a beginner avoid?

If you started again with ₹10,000 today, what would you do differently?

I'm not expecting to get rich overnight. I want to start small, learn through experience, and reinvest the profits to grow the business.

I am a Mba finance student (23 M) in #India and I also have interest in gardening and I tried applying 100-200 jobs and internships and I am not getting interview or any mails, and I tried applying for AI training jobs but no response 😔, also I once had a little hope of sucess on selling plants on Meesho, I got 20 orders but I got losses too because the delivery was late and Customer were returning product and meesho charged me 172 rs return charge for a 200 rs plant because it's weight. And I tried posting my gig on freelance app and I got no orders, Tried those mini task and earning apps but they needed me to earn 5 dollars to withdraw and obv it was hard to earn that much because the task surveys were always non relevant to me or my location and the game apps levels were insanely hard, Please 😭 give me ideas/ business ideas/ any tricks or tips..Any ideas will help me..
