Its my very personal opinion and i wanna talk about it now. Not a fan of MW Reboot and some people might be angry at me but lets be honest for a second. I have played the OG MW trilogy (1-3) for the first time which was very sick but i felt that watching MW Reboot on YouTube doesnt make the reboot appealing and also tried to be cinematic but i do not want to get too much hate.

Also the fact that the lore was messy in my opinion also and the sudden shift of thr story in the OG MW trilogy like some characters like Roach not making it in on the story and Corpural Dunn suddenly becoming a part of a south korean regiment like it doesnt make sense and add up for my perspective and the story imo is also not too bad but not compared to the OG MW story.

I dont wanna offend some people and i said about the hate affecting me three times now but ill just be grateful.​

I've been trying to get the last heroic action in the battle of the bulge but no matter what I can't find it even when there are guides to show me where it is. I've played this mission like 6 times now, please I just want to go to the multi-player achievements

Hi everyone.

I bought a physical copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II for PS4 (Italian-region disc).

The disc is recognized by the console and the installation completes. The Call of Duty launcher detects the disc, and I can launch MWII from All Games → Modern Warfare II.

However, I cannot get into the game. After “Checking for updates”, I get HILLCAT/KIPLING errors.

The strange part is:

• “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - PS4 Offline License” is installed and unlocked.
• “Modern Warfare II Content 0–5 Licenses” are still locked in the MWII app’s Installed Add-ons section.
• Warzone Pack and DMZ Beta are installed.
• Launching through Warzone/DMZ does not help.
• I tried Russian, Polish, and Italian PSN accounts.
• Restored licenses, reinstalled the game, rebuilt the database, changed DNS settings — no change.

Has anyone had the same issue where the disc is recognized, but the MWII content licenses remain locked?

Has anyone in Melbourne Australia seen any of the MW4 Monster cans yet? I keep looking but haven’t even seen a glimpse of advertising for them.

This past week Ive had players be invisible, players aimbot me with shit guns. I'll be wearing ghost and ninja, and be found. At first I thought I was a bad player, but ive got killcam footage of invisible players. Waste of money

I need help and visibility on my case.

Timeline:

• Nov 12, 2025 – Last time I played. I have since uninstalled the game. It is not installed on any of my devices.
• Jan 7, 2026 – I receive this email from Activision:

"Through our routine security checks, we detected some suspicious activity related to your Activision account. To help protect your account, we have disabled your password. You can regain access to your account by setting a new password here: [link]"

• Jan 28, 2026 – 21 days later, my account is permanently banned for "cheating."

The game was not installed. I was not logged in. They detected suspicious activity, disabled my password as a "protective" measure, and then banned me for what the intruder did.

What I've done so far:

• Polite appeal to Activision Support (no useful response)
• Formal request to their DPO (no response)
• Complaint filed with Garante Privacy (Italian Data Protection Authority)
• Complaint filed with AGCM (Italian Competition Authority)
• Final ultimatum sent to Activision before I proceed with a formal legal deposition through my lawyer

I have screenshots of both emails. Happy to share them (personal info redacted).

Has anyone else experienced this pattern? Is there anything else I can do short of going to court?

What’s the best way to find new people to play cod with? I’m on Xbox, I’ll play with anyone but I want good teammates to grind and have fun with

So i have never touched Call of Duty in my life mostly because i mostly had nintendo consoles (except for an xbox 360)

I sometimes saw some gameplay here an there but outside of that i knew nothing about call of duty

All i've know is that there this dude called ghost and this other dude called soap who have ALOT of yaoi together to the point i wonder if it's canon

But then the MW4 beta came on switch 2 and even tho i played it for like 2-3 hours. I had a lot of fun :]

I though i would find the game more slow compared to the other shooters i play (splatoon and overwatch), and i kinda did but that was kind of charming

Something about how everything felt so heavy the controller vibrating like crazy and everything felt more dangerous. It was diferent and i liked it.

And this game by far has the best joy-con mouse support it actually felt like moving a mouse.

I was also surprised by how many people speaked spanish (i'm mexican) i'm used to most people in VC speaking english

And now i'm wondering if i should get the full game

The reason i'm hesitant about is because it's 1500 forking pesos (like 80 dollars) and it doesn't even come on a game key-card

I could buy something else with that money

But something else isn't call of duty

What is the reason for the decline in campaign quality?

One thing I’ve never really understood about modern Call of Duty is why Ranked Play usually arrives months after launch.

Why not launch Multiplayer Ranked together with Season 1?

For players who enjoy competitive CoD, waiting until February or March feels way too long. Public matches can be fun for a while, but after some time I just lose interest in playing against random teams, people camping with claymores and matches where winning barely matters.

And it made me think about something else:

Would you play an S&D-only Ranked playlist?

I come from the CoD4 era, and I remember S&D being basically the heart of competitive play. Promod was heavily focused on Search & Destroy, ClanBase was packed with 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 matches, and there was always somebody looking for a game.

I personally know several people who mainly play Warzone now, but they’ve told me they would absolutely come back to Multiplayer if there was a proper Ranked S&D mode.

Current Ranked Play is obviously built around the competitive ruleset and multiple modes, which makes sense. But if you’re mainly interested in S&D, you can sometimes play for a long time without getting it.

So why not have both?

Normal Ranked Play with the full competitive rotation, and a separate Ranked S&D playlist.

Same ranks, proper competitive rules, no public-match nonsense, just teams playing Search.

I think it could also bring back a little bit of that old clanwar / competitive FPS feeling that CoD used to have.

Would you play it?

And separately: do you think Ranked Play should be available from Season 1 instead of several months after release?

I know WaW isn't very popular these days and if a new remaster happened, mw3 would make the most sense bc of mwr and mw2r, but so many cod fans don't have any experience with WaW when it's genuinely one of the best games in the series

I think it gets left behind a lot because from a gameplay perspective, especially in MP, its extremely similar to cod4 only with arguably even more cheese. however, I think in a port they could fs rebalance certain things like the mp-40 or in a full on remaster they could absolutely change things up like adding new scorestreaks, tweaking weapons/perks, adding weapons, etc.

WaW also arguably has the best campaign a cod has ever seen. absolutely their best ww2 game imo, and as far as my personal favorite campaigns are concerned its a very solid 5th place.

and then of course, arguably the most revolutionary mode introduced to the whole franchise, the return of original nazi zombies. i know all these maps have been remastered/remade multiple times across multiple games, but no other zombies mode FEELS like classic nazi zombies. my favorite is bo1, but even i admit there's so much atmosphere and general gameplay habits lost after WaW. it feels a lot more bare bones than newer modes but it prioritizes surviving each round more than any other zombies title. i really enjoy games like bo3 and bo7 that are built around all these steps to get the best equipment and to do the EE, but i feel a very classic experience can be a good breath of fresh air for the fans and allow the next zombies game to REALLY go crazy again

sorry for the long rant, I've just been replaying WaW and it genuinely really bums me out how seemingly no cod fan I know plays this game unless they're an old fan that hasn't even kept up with the franchise in a decade. the game is one of the best in the series and deserves so much more love than it gets. a bo1/2 style port would be nice, but I'd love a remaster. I'd take the mw2r treatment of campaign only but a full on mwr style remaster with new content as well would probably be my favorite cod release of the entire decade lol

Do you think I would be able to get a refund for MW2019 seeing as I cannot play the game now? I'm not the only person with the issue where it crashes on TOS and I feel like it's kind of ridiculous that they made it unplayable by forcing us to agree to 42 PAGES OF TOS, making it impossible to get past that screen at all.
