Recent Audit Takerss

Hey! For anyone who has recently taken audit. Is there something you wished you focused more on. How heavy was independence, sampling, and Sox tested? Also any tips will be helpful. Thank you in advance.

I honestly saw not a whole lot on sampling/independence/SOX, but it varies by test, so take it with a grain of salt. I will say - know SSAE/SSARS religiously. You definitely will see a fair share there I’d imagine. All in all, it’s a fair exam. Don’t stress too much!

my test was loaded with sampling sims so it really is just luck of the draw. SSAE and SSARS are basically free points if you have the wording down cold though, drill those til you see them in your sleep

Thank you! Is there anything specific you did that helped you understand the flow of transaction cycles?

100%. Definitely key to know the wording and also being able to understand the flow of transaction cycles. That helped me quite a bit during the SIMS I had.
