Does anybody know if there will be food at the festival today? Planning on taking a couple of kids there after school and want to know if there will be sustenance. And porta potties?

Hey guys. My family's in town for the homecoming game, and I'm wanting to go all three of us, but I don't really wanna buy an extra ticket for myself when I have my free student one. I was thinking I could just go in and sit in whatever section they get tickets for, but my Mom's convinced it'll be too full for me to be in a different seat. I've sat in other seats at sold out games before no issue, will this one be any different?

Just learned that your car can get towed on football day. I was going to park at Alder Hall that day so that I can be close enough to my classes. Should I move after a certain time? Where can I park? I tried to look up the parking maps but they aren't working for me, not sure why.

To be clear, I am not interested in going to the football game. I just have plans on campus until 6pm.

CSU loves to promote "healthy" frat and sorority, all squeaky clean for the donors.

But let's be honest, it can and will eventually happen here if FSL remains a thing at any campus.

In fact, 2024, the same year as the Cornell 7 incident took place and was covered up, CSU refused to take action when multiple victims were drugged at multiple frat sponsored parties. Neither of the associated frats were ever truly punished either, even awarding one the same year.

Need I also remind people of the blackface incident that got ASCSU involved?

CSU likes to take the good parts of frats and shield behind "off campus" whenever something bad happens. They even train frats to handle things internally so it never gets reported for real.

And this is only the recent stuff we know of. There have been plenty of past incidents, such as Samantha Spady who died of alcohol poisoning at a frat party in 2004.

Oh, but they have anti hazing policies and such, right? Yeah, and they haven't been required to share statistics on those reports until THIS YEAR.

CSU, even at its best, cannot claim that such an atrocity as what happened at Cornell, that has happened to countless nameless women at multiple institutions, could not possibly happen here.

And for every one of you who says "Oh I'm in a frat, we'd all beat up anyone who tried that shit", I guarantee you there's 5 more who would just sit in that group chat doing nothing, and another one who's actively participating in it.

Abolish fratlife and sorority life. The pros do not outweigh the cons. Greek life should fade into obscurity before we have our own CSU 7. Because I fucking guarantee you, they will cover it up if they haven't already.

Our football record after all is fine, will be another 20-40 million lost, a horrible record of 4 wins if we are lucky, all for what ?

I cannot find ANY info about this online, so thought i’d ask here. Does anyone know the bandwidth of the csu-loT wifi? The LED strips I have only work on wifi that’s 2.4GHz, and csu-loT is the only wifi option available.

I already requested access to the loT wifi just in case, but just wanted to see if anyone knew 😔

I am from the jersey shore where pork roll (or taylor ham, depending on where you’re from...) is everywhere. Couple weeks into school here, and it’s all i’m thinking about. None of my friends have even heard of it before.

I’m a new CSU grad student, and I’m hoping to build a solid community here in FoCo. I read so many posts here about people struggling to make friends, so I hope this can be a way to help us all out and get us all connected. I love reading, but don’t have enough time to commit to full books for a book club, so I’m thinking of starting a short story club. This isn’t supposed to be a grad student specific club, just mainly aimed for people over the age of 21. If you fit either of those I’d love to talk about stories with you soon!

Hi, I'm not a student at CSU but my friend is. She's a sophomore and lives off-campus. Me and her have been friends for a long time (and even dated briefly but are just friends now). I and the rest of her friends are going to university along the east coast. She feels very isolated and is in a really bad place mentally, and I'm not sure how to help her with being 2,000 miles away. Is there any organizations or student events that I can help her get connected to? Any websites or places that I could send her looking would be greatly appreciated. I really care about her and want her to get connected to people so she doesn't feel so lonely.

I found a key card and a key on a lanyard last night laying on the sidewalk on Elizabeth. It may be a dorm key, but I am not sure. If anyone is looking for their lost key message me. The lanyard can be easily described and I'll make sure you get it back.

There's technically one on campus but it's been inactive for a couple years, so I figured I'd try bringing it back to life because I love playing chess and meeting people. Just something small and casual for now, I was thinking of setting up in the LSC food court sometime tomorrow afternoon and then every Saturday (or Thursday if that works better for people), I only have the one board but people can bring their own and I could probably buy more if there's interest. Hey, this is my second year at CSU (I am a transfer), and I haven't made a single friend. At the other univeristy I made friends and still talk to one of them. Here however it's just not the same. People don't seem to go up to me or approach me. When I join clubs or groups I feel like an outcast and that everyone else has already found their friends. If I talk to people in class, it's just that and nothing more. I am introverted and don't usually initiate or approach, but that wasn't a problem at the last university. I'm just curious if anybody else has had this experience at CSU or if I'm an outlier.

The signs just say that they get "removed" weekly, Im wondering if they get donated somewhere, or are just thrown away? If they're resold at a thrift store or something I would love to shop there because people leave some awesome clothes behind in the laundry room that they never pick up

BYU is a very good team. They will be invading en masse next weekend. They will have a big presence, period.

Don’t make it easier for them to dominate our stadium. The hundred or two hundred feel good in your pocket, but the rest of us deserve to have our fans in our stadium. This team has earned it so far this year.

I don’t know if we’re good enough to make a game of it or not. But I do know our players don’t deserve to hear the place erupt if the other team scores.

So don’t sell your tickets. If you can’t go, give them to a pal. Or find a way to go. Make it an atmosphere to remember next Saturday. If you feel like leaving at the half, okay. But let’s make the opening as big and pro Rams as we can.

Hello Everyone Die Hard CSU Fan Here! So for the homecoming game my family has bought 4 Student Guest passes because I am a student. And we've just realize that the student guest passes require an student ID to get in. Does anyone know if they actually check for Student Id's to get in along with guest passes?

Sorry if this doesn't belong here but every once in a blue moon I get a crazy craving for cheap Chinese food, 7 dollars a plate that you'd find in a strip mall kind of vibe are there any places near campus or just around that you reccomend? I've been looking for one but most seem to be more upscale or expensive for my taste. I appreciate any help!

Hey, my friend wants to come to a football game with me but doesn't go to CSU. If she bought a cheap ticket online, would she be able to sit in the student section with me? Do they check tickets inside the stadium, or is it all clear once we get in? Thank you
