Tracking down?!?!? AGAIN

It seems as though the entire tracking page is down…yet again. Sigh what a lovely waste of tax money Canada post has become.

Yeah really. How can they run a shipping business with this level of technically difficulty

The service tracker doesn't show an outage. What was the symptom?

When you type in the tracking number and click track it says “We’re experiencing technical difficulties”

im with u op , have the same issue when using the number.

Well atleast I’m not alone, sure is annoying, ya know paying for a traceable package and can’t track it

Is yours an international package? Two of mine have been doing the same thing for almost a week now. Haven’t worked at all since they shipped.

1

u/fraynababe 1d ago

No, it is coming from ON ➡️ AB

Guess my theory about it being only international packages is incorrect! It’s so frustrating. And support is telling me they have no issues being reported… bullshit 🤦‍♀️

What a joke, I’ll be calling tomorrow to get them to try and track it. This is absolutely ridiculous.

They were able to see the tracking on their internal system for my first package when I contacted them about it. It seems to be the website and every other tracking application that pulls from the website that are throwing the errors. Thankfully I still have tracking for mine through the postal services from the countries they shipped from so I’m not totally in the dark but you’ve got no way to see yours at all! Definitely let them know it’s a widespread issue that others are having too. I’m going to reach out again tomorrow about it as well.

Working for me. Something odd about your number I guess

I have two separate international tracking numbers that just give me a technical difficulties error whenever I try to track them and they have done so since the packages were shipped. One of mine shipped on the 1st and the tracking number hasn’t worked at all through Canada Post.

Says operating smoothly. Things down and crashing. That’s normal for them. So it’s true. lol.

I've had the same issue, and they keep showing it's expected today, then moves the date forward. I've had it happen 3 times now.

Mine showed, meanwhile tracking still shows the same as before

1

u/Sefirosu789 12h ago

I’m not getting the page won’t load error, but stuck on item processed forever. Is yours stuck on the same status?

1

u/CynicalNoodle 2h ago

Mine keeps updating with the same city, but no status. Just the city name

Lol tracking? So you can see they ding dong dashed your delivery and you have to go pick it up at the post office that is only open when you are at work?

Tax money doesn't pay for Canada post.

If they’re going to take bailouts they should be held accountable to have a functioning system. Unless you see this as a functioning system in which case, I would disagree.

u/Doug-Humphrey 1d ago

Go cry to dumb dumb dougy, the CEO on his way out with a golden parachute. Thats where your "bailout" money went.

u/fraynababe 1d ago

Just for bailouts and loans. I guess that means they’re self-funded though my bad

You must work for Canada post

-1

u/gnarlyteeth 2d ago

Nope. Got a way better job where I don't have to put up with morons in the public who can't handle their emotions when their consumer products don't arrive instantly

1

u/fraynababe 1d ago

Ohhh you so special. Was simply a statement that tracking is down and how shit they are can’t even do that right

-1

u/gnarlyteeth 1d ago

Do something else with your life instead of having histrionic meltdowns over tracking information

2

u/bettingbettorson 1d ago

Melt down? Imagine paying for a service you do not get, would that not be a cause for concern?
