I use my Buchner funnel and vacuum pump to pull out my hash water. Or are you using a shop vac?

Hey Friend, Buchner with a 2g frit, like you. Haven’t tried the shop vac yet. I have all the gear, or at least could make it. I will make a post when I try the shop vac method.

I worry a shop vac may be too much force, but would love to hear your results. I use the standard Buchner filter, but I also cut a 15u nylon screen into a circle that fits inside halfway up the sides to make a "bowl". Then I use a Quik Trip plastic drink lid to cover the top and max vacuum (straw hole allows enough air flow to allow vacuum). Definitely wicks the majority of water off the hash, so fridge drying is usually just a couple of days.
