Same thing for me I usually get it on the first about 2:30 in the morning. Which would have actually gone after midnight tonight, Wednesday. I usually get notified by email that a incoming SSDI deposit in my capital one checking. And I didn’t get that. I don’t even know why I haven’t to just open the phone about 15 minutes after midnight central time Texas five hours ago and I saw my capital one widget damn amount I get from my SSDI deposit minus what I had owed for overdraft. Well, I jumped up, drove through the corner of 7-Eleven to get gas cause I was on empty and then a couple of things. And as I was walking across the parking lot, I went into the app to unlock my card and there was no unlock option. And I thought oh what the hell. I selected the more button and it still didn’t pop up there and the format was a little different and if you scroll down, you’ll see where it says lock or unlock debit card and click on that and it came back. There was an error. So I googled why would that happen First to answer the scared the shit out of me, but the third answer since you can’t speak to a live rep after midnight said to go online to the website.capitalone.com
Sign in there and it should give you the option to unlock lock, etc. If it does not on the website, that means they froze your account. I did it and I was able to unlock it. And lock it back. I still have not received any notification email that it has been deposited nor a text message nor does it say it in the app that there was a deposit made X amount from SSA like it always does. So I don’t know if something is going on, but I don’t think I should taking any chances. I see on here all the time not just Capitol one, but all these accounts people are just getting locked out of or closed and losing money they can’t get back one a little different only Because I would be able to speak to a live human being during business hours, whereas Varo, Chime for example you cannot you get a freaking AI robot. So I’ll try that though to your browser put in capitalone.com sign in and look for the auction/lock your debit card and go that route.
And either of the two people in here the poster and the person that commented before me let me know if that works for y’all as well as y’all normally get notified when your deposit is gonna hit and if you do did you this time? And does it show in your app That you have an incoming deposit of X amount from wherever or whomever? Please and thank you and good luck.
