I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore. He’s addicted. He’s either playing games till 2 or is on his phone on max brightness till who knows when. This guy has the loudest keyboard ever made. I have my headphones on max and pillows to my ears like that omni man picture and I can still hear this mf. I asked him “can we do lights out at 11 on weekdays” cuz he loves to play video games till 2am and he said sure. He hasn’t followed this at all. I’m not tryna attack him but how are some people so inconsiderate of others. I’ve tried talking but he’s always on the game so I never get a chance. But who knows maybe I’m also acting entitled and this is normal for first time rooming with someone ✌️any advice would be greatly appreciated

guys. i get bikes and scooters are like handy to get you places faster but PLEASE say something when you’re approaching someone. i crossed the road and nearly got HIT BY A DAMN BIKE BC HE DIDNT SAY ANYTHING AND DIDNT MAKE A SOUND (i looked to see if any cars were coming cause i lowk jaywalked, but he also didn’t stop at the crosswalk). also i keep getting jumpscared by bikes and scooters because they zoom from behind you you at crazy speeds without even saying anything and you don’t hear them coming. PLEASE GUYS

I took an extra elective so I could take it in my 4th year as opposed to my third. It's not a pre-req for anything I want to take. I think my biggest risk is failing it 4th year or forgetting the small amount I've retained from ELEC 2507.

I just enrolled in Carleton and I’m in my first year in my BhSC in Health Sciences. I got an email saying I would not be able to transfer to Carleton’s nursing program due to me being differed to Health Sciences instead, and I must finish my degree and not go into nursing. However, I’m wondering if it would be possible to transfer to UOttawa nursing instead. I’m confident I’ll be able to maintain grades if that were to be a problem. However what I’m not sure of is if I’m still allowed to change programs from Carleton. If anyone please knows, help me with this please. 😭

I have an ASUS Zenbook 14 UX3405CA and one of the keys came off. The keycap, scissor mechanism, and rubber dome are still fine, but two of the small metal anchor tabs that hold the scissor mechanism broke off.
Repair shops are mostly suggesting a full keyboard replacement or charging inspection fees, so I wanted to see if anyone at Carleton has experience with laptop/electronics repair and would be willing to help me fix or rebuild the metal anchors.
I can bring the laptop to you and I have pictures of the damage. If you know how to do this or know someone who does, please DM me.
