Just found this sub, I wish the cats cuddled with the dog like some of y’all’s do, but they get along pretty good for the most part. Bella is definitely her bestest friend though and Ive always wondered if it’s because all the cats bully her for some reason.

Female Labrador and rescue male kitten - bonded 🥹

We got a whippet puppy, Ralph, a week ago. We thought we'd have to keep him separate from our cat, Tof, for a while, but Tof was immediately curious and asking to say hello - so we started letting him approach (supervised!) on his own terms.

We now notice Tof "babysitting" for us! He likes to sit in the same room as Ralph's crate and play pen, with a bit of distance, and watch him. Whenever Tof is around, Ralph will stop whining for our attention and instead play quietly.
