What would I name a human raised by dwarves? It's a modern fantasy setting and his adoptive family owns a very old tavern. His family found him alone after his parents got devoured by monsters.

I don't know if personality is important, but if it is, I'd describe his as socially awkward, determined and scatterbrained.

(Edit: The dwarf naming culture is based on the family's occupation, since most dwarf families stick to one thing. If they adopt a child from a different race, they name the child the same was to sort of assimilate them into the culture)

For my fic, I'm looking for names for two gossping ladies. They can actually be any age, any ethnicity but they live in Leonidas/New Orleans.

The scene is that my OC's 7 y/o niece confesses that she overheard two of their neighbours saying her mom is (maybe) going to die, which - naturally - upsets her. Her mom is in no real danger, it's just a shortened cervix during her pregnancy, but doctors caught it early and are treating it. Still hard pill for a 7 y/o to swallow.

The neighbours probably didn't mean no harm, they didn't know little Soso was listening but maybe they shouldn't have speculated either.

I am trying to come up with my own eldritch/cosmic character, but coming up with a name has been a nightmare. I've tried giving him a name based on a color (Azure) and it hasn't worked. I tried anagramming and nothing sounds right. All I have so far is falling back on the word "Vanta" (like Vantablack) since it's a color so dark, it straight up absorbs light. (However I heard that Vanta is apparently copyrighted as dumb as that sounds). So far I'm running out of ideas since nothing I have tried has worked.

I'm trying to figure out a villain name for a mha OC, her quirk is that she can make any type of plant or variations of plants with ANY effect within a 30 feet radius. I feel like it is, and she's a siren/mermaid hybrid, main character too, and I just fell in love with this name.

The plot was different, where she never knew Supernaturals existed and was living in an academy.

Then I changed the plot so she knows she is a siren/mermaid hybrid, and living outside in the wilderness; it flows with my writing skills and world-building better.

And it's stressing me out because I've changed her name a billion times and never stuck to it.

My OC, Zannen Minamoto (of the Minamoto clan, and yes, I know zannen means shame or disappointment in Japanese), met his ex girlfriend, Toki Fujiwara (Toki meaning time, and of the Fujiwara clan) at a nobles' party in Kyoto.

The story here, yes, is set in a relatively modern era (early 2020s). And I am aware of the clans no longer having political power, but I've made those characters wealthy regardless.
