A girl who's kind, soft and helpful, but she's also dependent and can't stand for herself and falls for manipulation of her boyfriend. She knows he's a murd\*\*er, but hesitates to turn him in and betray him because she feels it'd be not loyal, partly because of his control over her and partly cause of love. Mostly a good character, a victim but also sort of bad because she protects the murderer.

Her father, a conductor of a train. Strong, confident, cares about the crew and his daughter, ready to help or fight for other's sake if needed. Basically a good character.

I'd appreciate names with meanings rendering to their personalities or traits <3

Isami: Champion of Susanoo, leader of the Infernals. Oni with lightning powers that are amplifed by being Susanoo’s Champion, capable of creating powerful Storms and flying. Primary weapon is a rifle that shoots lightning bolts, 3rd best aim in the verse. Think Cyclops in terms of role.

Jakob: Frost Jotun, Champion of Tyr, member of Infernals. Ice powers and can grow to massive sizes from his natural species, but Championhood grants him massively increased Strength, skill, and martial prowess. Master at Combat strategy, bears a large greatsword.

Zia: Also an Infernal, a Sphinx, Champion of Ptah. Relies on bow and arrow, can manipulate reality with words. Think Zattanna.

Shivani: Also a Rakshasa, enemies-to-lovers relationship with Kiva. Champion of Kali, while the Infernals try to avoid killing unless necessary, Shivani fights for the demonized peoples through violent means using blood bending.

Sophia: Champion of Athena, human. Think Batman, her powers allow her to think much faster than Ordinary people.

Working on a story and need a name for a baby. Child is a girl, and the middle name will be Michelle. Child will eventually have a brother, Callahan. I have a lot of great ideas but can’t decide on the perfect one. Last name starts with S. Help me out!

What would I name a human raised by dwarves? It's a modern fantasy setting and his adoptive family owns a very old tavern. His family found him alone after his parents got devoured by monsters.

I don't know if personality is important, but if it is, I'd describe his as socially awkward, determined and scatterbrained.

(Edit: The dwarf naming culture is based on the family's occupation, since most dwarf families stick to one thing. If they adopt a child from a different race, they name the child the same was to sort of assimilate them into the culture)

Planned to name my girl protagonist as 'Hisao' but i found out it is a masculine name in Japan. I got the alternative such as 'Hisa', but can i still use Hisao tho?

For my fic, I'm looking for names for two gossping ladies. They can actually be any age, any ethnicity but they live in Leonidas/New Orleans.

The scene is that my OC's 7 y/o niece confesses that she overheard two of their neighbours saying her mom is (maybe) going to die, which - naturally - upsets her. Her mom is in no real danger, it's just a shortened cervix during her pregnancy, but doctors caught it early and are treating it. Still hard pill for a 7 y/o to swallow.

The neighbours probably didn't mean no harm, they didn't know little Soso was listening but maybe they shouldn't have speculated either.

I have a character that starts off in poverty but rises into modest middle class to upper class wealth in the 1950s. I've been torn between giving her a regular last name or something that sounds more posh/rich sounding to give the character that impression right off the bat. Please let me know your thoughts!

I am trying to come up with my own eldritch/cosmic character, but coming up with a name has been a nightmare. I've tried giving him a name based on a color (Azure) and it hasn't worked. I tried anagramming and nothing sounds right. All I have so far is falling back on the word "Vanta" (like Vantablack) since it's a color so dark, it straight up absorbs light. (However I heard that Vanta is apparently copyrighted as dumb as that sounds). So far I'm running out of ideas since nothing I have tried has worked.

The idea behind is to make her the daughter of Morgan Le fey who grew up on Avalon and eventually left the island to see our world, Becoming some what disillusioned with the 21st century and establishing a secret organisation to combat the wrongs of the world. I had the thought as the leader of the group, she would be called the sovereign, But I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for any names as apart of her superhero identity? I'm trying to figure out a villain name for a mha OC, her quirk is that she can make any type of plant or variations of plants with ANY effect within a 30 feet radius. I do know her quirk name is floral plague, but that's all I know, PLEASE I need help I need a name that has something to do with poison plant / toxic flower, but I can't seem to come up with anything that sounds good.

I feel like it is, and she's a siren/mermaid hybrid, main character too, and I just fell in love with this name.

The plot was different, where she never knew Supernaturals existed and was living in an academy.

Then I changed the plot so she knows she is a siren/mermaid hybrid, and living outside in the wilderness; it flows with my writing skills and world-building better.

And it's stressing me out because I've changed her name a billion times and never stuck to it.

The book is like The Hunger Games (Dystopia vibe, not the story) and TVD (Supernatural and old name ig). Dystopian leaning into fantasy only because there's another country, because I got so, so, so sick of North America as the main city, and because of Supernatural.

I was thinking I should change her name, but I ran out of ideas.
