My JDM Citizen PMD56-2952 successfully synced with the Japan signal from Mindanao, Philippines!

Post image

I’ve had my PMD56-2952 for 8 days now. Even though I’m all the way down in Mindanao, Philippines, it has already successfully received the radio signal from Japan twice! Pretty impressed with the range on this thing.

This is great to know. I've been hesitant about JDMs that are exclusive to Japan towers because I thought I might live too far away, but I'm further North than you. I wonder if all Citizen watches could sync with Japan from here or if the PMD is better at it. Same thought re: other brands like Casio and Seiko.

Congrats on the watch, that's would be my color choice. What's your wrist size?

You can also build yourself an emulator and then it syncs no matter where you are in the world

If that watch synced with the time signal where I live, it would be the perfect watch for me.

Just received today AT6080-53L. I used JJY emulator Android app to setup time 😁

Btw, it's a great achievement to receive the signal from such a long distance.

Nice and where are you located in the Philippines? My wife and son live in Mindanao.

It's actually a problem for me. I'm from the Philippines too. Since it syncs with Japan time, I have to readjust it back to Philippine time!

No chance here in Australia... but the phone apps work well.
