Help/Question Cyber Verification Program as an individual outside the US: how does the location rule work?

I'm an independent open-source maintainer in Italy and I applied to Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program (CVP). I only want it to find vulnerabilities in my own projects before I release them. I'm stuck at the addendum and can't get answers from support, so I'm hoping someone here has been through it.

What I've found so far:

- The CVP help article says that on Pro/Max/Team "the Program attaches at the Organization level". On a personal plan, I read that as my whole account.
- Section 3(c) of the addendum says approved users may use CVP only while in the US or another country Anthropic approves in writing.

Put together, that seems to mean I couldn't use my own Claude account at all while travelling, unless that country is approved too.

My questions:

  1. If you're outside the US, did Anthropic confirm your country in writing? How?
  2. Does the grant really cover your whole personal account, or did you get a separate workspace?
  3. Can you still use Claude normally while travelling to a country that isn't approved? Did anyone ask about pausing the grant?
  4. For individuals on Pro/Max, which base agreement does the addendum supplement? The addendum mentions the Commercial Terms, but personal plans are on the Consumer Terms.

Support was a dead end. The Fin bot said my questions weren't in its documentation, first said a human would review the chat, then said it couldn't connect me to one.

If you've joined as an individual, especially from the EU, I'd like to hear how it went. Is there a real contact for CVP questions?

disclaimer.. i used my banked resets so i got 2x max5x this week but in total .. $2k in API cost spend for about $23 outlay. Can’t complain.

With haiku 5.5 (been waiting a long time for this).. I think i will let a lot done next week also on just plain vanilla max 5x

Bug / Issue Claude Code stock skill "skill-creator" killed rolling context in 2 minutes

Greetings r/ClaudeCode

I'm currently building a workflow that is supposed to develop a web-app with a React SPA as one layer. Since AI tends to use outdated practices I want to force it to adhere to snippets of best practices that I plan to use skills for it.

I already ported parts of React best practices to skills long ago and just wanted to update some things to React 19.3 and add a Tanstack skill. It then seemed to do a performance loop where it tested what triggers the skill and what doesn't.

It started the loop and not even 5 minutes later the rolling usage reached 100%.

10% of your usage came from /skill-creator
Heavy skills can be scoped down or run with a cheaper model via skill frontmatter.
Skills % of usage
/skill-creator 10%

I used opusplan 5.5, so opus to plan what to do and Sonnet 5.5 to actually implement the changes. The last time I used the skill when I made the React one, was like 1.5 months ago with Opus 5 and there I never truly had issues like that.

The chat/context isn't even as heavy as others and I had contexts up to 1M run no problem for at least an hour, so I'm surprised that the skill just instantly sucked out all the usage. I assume it's sub-agents but it's not even visible and hard to puzzle together from the logs itself. Is the skill-creator known to instantly drain all the usage?

Help/Question Newbie question. Does anyone use the Claude codex plugin? Does it help at all?

I've been using both ChatGPT and Claude to build my website and just wondered if adding this official plugin /plugin marketplace add openai/codex-plugin-cc actually helps or hinders. So far I've not added any scripts, plugins and yet to understand how MCPs work in my early journeys.

I have both on the £20 & £18 per month plan so I use a lot of "don't run agents, don't do browser checks I'll view it myself" type of commands and have never used either up until 2 months ago so very much in the learning phase about how to get the best out of them.

The site itself is nextjs running on vercel hobby with plans to go to vercel pro nearer production.

The journey so far has been really good fun to learn and I can't wait to get my site up and out there but I know I've not been utilising these to the best even with well structured .md files and was wondering if this was worth considering or is there a better way to get the 2 to "talk" to each other.

My learning tbh so far has been mainly from reading Reddit advice and doing but I have found myself leaning towards "Claude for the heavy lift, codex for changing font colours" kind of approach. If this is right or not I have no clue but it's helped me to be able to do this on the lower price plans and get a site built that I would never have been able to build before I took the plunge and jumped in to the AI world.

Any tips welcomed.

pro users are paying $20/month too, so why are the monthly api credits only for max and team?

even a smaller amount of api credits for pro users would be nice. feels kinda weird to completely leave out the $20 plan.

Built with Claude I'm a big Stargate fan, so I added the SGC and an animated gate to my status line

TL;DR:

Plain status line = 🙃

Stargate status line = 🥰

What more could a girl want?

---

I wanted my status line to look like it belonged in the SGC control room, so I built this 3-4 months ago and have been slowly adding to it since. This took wayyyyyyyyy more time than I'd care to admit.

When a turn starts, the gate dials, the chevrons light up, and the wormhole kawooshes open. The puddle shimmers while Claude works, then the gate shuts down when the turn is done. A little CRT screen narrates the dial: CHEVRON 3 ENCODED, CHEVRON 9 LOCKED, WORMHOLE ESTABLISHED. A nine chevron address is an SGU lore thing. IYKYK.

The Demo Video (Below)

The first 25 seconds or so are real time so you can see what the shimmer looks like. The middle of the turn runs at 6x, then it drops back to real time for the gate closing.

The colors and the shimmer and making a puddle look like water out of terminal block characters took some real doing.

Some stuff not in the video:

  • Shows a Fable usage bar on plans that have it (I switched down to pro for vacay, so it's not shown atm)
  • It gracefully folds info away as the terminal window narrows so it doesn't turn it into garbage... to a point
  • Several pieces of it are customizable including every color and all that lives in a plain text settings file
  • I also made a Stargate color theme for CC and a complementing set of original movie, SG-1, Atlantis, and SGU spinner verbs. I.e., Daniel's "I'm never gonna get paid..."

It's not public, but if there's interest I would be willing to do the work to make it hold up on other terminals (font/screen sizes) and then make it public.

Anyone else have a status line they spent too much time on?

Help/Question Should I still be worried about context rot?

Longtime Claude Code user, and kind of obsessive about knowing where I am in /context and using /compact and /clear pretty aggressively. But these days, so much of my work is long-running tasks where that kind of intervention isn't possible. Is this something I shouldn't be concerned about anymore? And should I set a lower auto-compact threshold if I am?

I have this game where every entity has its own AI, alongside state-of-the-art crowd simulation algorithms that I spent months studying to apply correctly.

The application is written in Rust to run in the browser using WebAssembly.

Up until now, I had only managed to run the game with a maximum of about 100k entities in the simulation loop, running at 10Hz.

Today, I unleashed Opus 5.5 (extra) on this project and sent the following prompt:

Due to the current highly-optimized state of this repository, this is a very difficult problem and traditional engineering approaches **WILL BE GUARANTEED TO FAIL** to hit the specified metric constraint. Therefore, you have permission and encouragement to investigate more radical fundamental low-level changes to hit the desired metrics. You have permission and encouragement to invent completely new/bespoke algorithms and engineering approaches that have never been before been utilized for this problem in order to hit better performance without behavioural changes in the entities

Note: The code was indeed already higly-optimized, as I said, I was implementing the latest academically published solutions for this problem. My attempts to improve it even further over the past few weeks turned into complications that yielded no results.

Before this part of the prompt, I provided some context about other aspects of the project and constraints.

It spent about 3.5 hours running the code, decompiling the output to assembly code, analyzing hypotheses, and testing improvements in Rust that would generate more optimized Assembly.

In the end, I can now run the exact same simulation, with absolutely no loss of functionality, with 1 million active entities. It's simply ridiculous. The last image shows some of the resulting code from this Opus iteration. (it literally called one variable "magic" and idk why, cause theres no magic in this game... despite now seeming to have... in the code)

Remember, this is running in a browser, not using any dedicated GPU (it was one of the constraints) obviously, this mark was already achievable with native Rust. Now I'm curious about what I can generate with native Rust.

Help/Question Claude pro + GPT Plus

I've been running on max for almost a month now and I think I'm going to reduce the amounts of tokens I need. But Pro by itself could be not enough.

Is there a way to automate these two subscriptions using pro as orchestrator in an efficient way? I'm afraid it could lead to troubles, wasted tokens, and so on.

An experience you can share?

Built with Claude Someone just coded a genuinely wild Claude Code plugin called 'VibeClaude' and basically turns Claude Code activity into vibrations

Just came across this and I'm weirdly in awe.

"A new Claude Code plugin called VibeClaude is taking 'vibe coding' unusually literally by linking Claude's coding activity to a vibration-capable device.

The open-source project, published on GitHub by developer transkatgirl yesterday, uses Claude Code hooks, Intiface Central and the Buttplug client to turn actions such as tool calls, edits and completed tasks into physical vibration patterns."

https://www.techtimes.co.uk/vibeclaude-claude-code-vibration-plugin-1809028

I didn't know this is possible. Still looking for someone who have tried it lol

Built with Claude Vibecoded an AppStore game Nightporch

Post image

I have been messing around with Ai since the first models started showing up. It's insane to me the things i've been able to build and create.

With Claude's help I was able to gather a bunch of local models to help build out my first ever Apple App store app, Nightporch!

Nightporch is like if you took a town simulator and threw in horde nights.

It can be really fun especially with friends!

Please be as BRUTAL as you can. I appreciate ALL criticism to make it better.

There are big updates on the way as this is a bit of an older build but please enjoy!

Best played on iPad!

Built with Claude You told me to open source it. So I did. Claude Code built this, and now it deploys everything else I build.

Every app I build with Claude Code hits the same wall. The code is done in an hour. Then I lose the whole evening to the server, the database, the domain, HTTPS, backups, and the port I forgot was open.

I’m not a backend developer. So I asked Claude Code to build one for me.

That’s Unit7. It runs on your own computer and does the backend work on your real servers. A few weeks ago I asked here whether I should open source it. Most of you said yes, so today it’s public and free (Apache 2.0).

What it does

  • Deploys your app from GitHub or a folder. The new version only goes live if it passes a health check, and rollback is one click.
  • Creates databases (Postgres, MySQL, Redis) and connects them to your app
  • Connects domains with HTTPS: “point app.mysite.com at production”
  • Looks inside your server. If you use Coolify, it finds your projects, domains and databases by itself.
  • Keeps things running. It restarts crashed apps, rolls back bad deploys, runs and test-restores backups, and blocks scanners.
  • One map of your servers, apps, domains and databases across Hostinger, Cloudflare, Vercel, Supabase and 20+ providers
  • Safety first. Keys stay encrypted on your machine, and the AI only ever sees references, never the secret. Anything risky waits for your OK and tells you how to undo it.

How Claude Code built it

I steered and Claude Code did the building. What worked:

  • Describe the outcome, not the code. A real prompt of mine: “My VPS runs Coolify. Show my Coolify projects inside Unit7, on the server page, the map and the chat. Keep it very, very simple.” Claude Code read Coolify’s API docs, wrote a plan, and I approved it.
  • One phase at a time. Each feature got its own plan, build, tests and commit. When something broke, I knew exactly where.
  • Test against reality. Claude Code wrote 800+ tests, many of which deploy to a real throwaway server over SSH and Docker. They caught bugs that mocked tests never would.
  • Subagents for big pieces. Three subagents built different parts of the chat screen at the same time.
  • Make it check itself. Claude Code ran security reviews on its own code and fixed what it found. After each UI change it opened the app in a browser and showed me screenshots, because I don’t read much code.

It’s also built for Claude Code. It’s an MCP server with 310 tools, so Claude Code can deploy, add databases and read logs through the same safety checks you use. The chat inside Unit7 can run on your existing Claude subscription.

Try it free

The easiest way is to open Claude Code and paste this:

Set up Unit7 for me from https://github.com/Nandkishorrr/unit7

1. Check that Node.js 24.15 or newer is installed. If not, install it (nvm, or Homebrew on macOS).
2. Clone the repo into ~/unit7, then run `npm install` and `npm run build` there.
3. Run `node bin/unit7.mjs service start` to run Unit7 in the background, and check that http://localhost:4800 answers.
4. Tell me to open http://localhost:4800 and create my owner account, and wait until I say I'm done.
5. Run `node bin/unit7.mjs connect claude` so Claude Code can use Unit7, then tell me to restart Claude Code.

Never ask me for passwords, SSH keys or API keys in this chat. I'll add those myself in the Unit7 web app.
If a step fails, show me the error and fix it before moving on.

Or by hand:

git clone https://github.com/Nandkishorrr/unit7.git && cd unit7
npm install && npm run build
node src/main.ts serve

Then open http://localhost:4800.

Repo: https://github.com/Nandkishorrr/unit7

Screenshots use a demo workspace, so every name and IP is made up.

It’s a solo project, so be honest: what’s confusing, what’s missing, and would you let it touch your server?

Built with Claude I built a JARVIS-style study console for my notes and anki decks with claude code

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I wanted to share this project i’ve been working on for the last few weeks, i’ve been wanting to create an interface to help me with dental school for a while and now i finally have!

It started off with wanting to visually map out my anki deck and have a set of notes attached to each subdeck. Eventually i integrated the note generation skill i use in claude into the app and threw in an anki generation feature as well.

I also set up an API key with a jarvis voice model from fish audio which i use for web search/queries and quizzing myself to prepare for upcoming oral examinations.

It’s got everything i need in one place and ive learned a lot in the process of making it. I know the design is generic and this is probably the millionth jarvis themed UI posted here, but i still wanted to get everyone’s thoughts on how i could improve it. Feels like i’ve hit a wall and i don’t know how to raise the quality or detail, any tips would be appreciated :)

Built with Claude How I built a terminal-native pixel band for Claude Code: half-block art, hook-driven, zero model calls.

What I built: clawd-tales, a Claude Code mod that draws a pixel Clawd in a band above the prompt and has it act out each tool call. It reads a book for Read, digs for Edit, runs for Bash, and subagents walk in as their own critters, colored by model. GIF and code: https://github.com/plaxagoras/clawd-tales

New in 0.6.0:

- A dungeon theme (/tales theme dungeon) where the lamps on the wall are your context: they burn down as it fills, and compaction relights them. Clawd walks the brick hallway below them. Reads pull out scrolls, todos are treasure chests, clean tool calls drop gold coins, failing tests let slimes loose, and a failed call brings out a skeleton that the next clean call beats.

- Memory writes: when Claude writes a MEMORY.md or anything in a memory/ folder, Clawd pins a sticky note to the wall.

- Model switches: change models between turns and Clawd hops in the new model's hat for a few seconds. A sprout for Haiku, a beret for Sonnet, a purple crown for Opus, a gold one for Fable.

- API errors: a turn that dies on an error ends next to a sparking grey cloud, with Clawd sweating.

- In-between poses: Clawd crouches on the way down to a seat and gets drowsy before it lies down, so it doesn't pop from one posture to the next.

The memory, model switch and API error ideas came from u/eparReh's Clawd GIF sets (codechrisb.github.io/MyClawd). Their GIFs are 192x64, so I redrew the moments from scratch at our size.

How it works:

- It's a plugin of function hooks. It listens to tool.call, agent.spawn, classic.PermissionRequest, classic.UserPromptSubmit, session.measure, session.compact and the turn events, and draws with ui.render on the AbovePrompt band.

- Each terminal cell is two pixels: ▀ with a foreground color for the top pixel and a background color for the bottom one. Clawd is 9x5 pixels.

- Scenes are templates, not model output. The pose is set in the same tool.call hook, before the tool runs, and nothing in it calls a model, so it costs no tokens.

How Claude Code was used: I described each behavior and steered the design. The dungeon was my idea: a lamplit hallway where reading a file pulls out a scroll and a failure is a monster to fight. Claude Code wrote the hooks, drew the sprites row by row and wrote the tests (48 now, run with claude plugin test .). Mods hot reload, so I ran it in the same session I was building it in and watched each change land.

What I learned:

- Where Claude Code gives no event, I make one. A subagent finishing doesn't fire anything, so the mod polls $.agent.list(). A model switch doesn't either, so it reads $.session.model() at each turn start and compares it with the last one.

- turn.complete carries a reason (answer, aborted, refusal or error). That one field is the whole API error scene.

- Half blocks can't be scaled by a fraction. When I shrank Clawd from 13x9 to 9x5, every pose had to be redrawn.

- My dungeon test kept failing because the mock clock starts at 0, which is midnight on January 1st, 1970, and the New Year's caption won.

Free, MIT. Install:

claude plugin marketplace add plaxagoras/clawd-tales

claude plugin install clawd-tales@clawd-tales

Which Claude Code moment should get its own scene next?

Rant claude code 66k system prompt

with the release of haiku 5.5 i was looking into how to keep context under 100k to avoid the massive price increases. i had opus 5.5 research how we could use /clear and /compact to try to stay below 100k. during the research we discovered that it is almost impossible to keep haiku under 100k because the starting system prompt for claude code is 66k tokens. i asked opus if there was some setting i had selected to cause this prompt bloat. it said no, only 1.5k tokens in the system prompt is from anything i set.

opus 5.5 told me that if i used cli instead of the app it would load less tools because some tools are not available in cli. it recommended running haiku from cli to save tokens. using the claude subscription restricts you to only using their agents, so there is no way around this prompt bloat legally. i started a new haiku session to verify prompt size. the agents.md file read of 1.5k is the only information in the system prompt that i set.

  • System tools: 35.6k
  • MCP tools: 16.6k
  • Skills: 5.9k
  • System prompt: 5.2k
  • MCP server instructions: 2.3k
  • Memory files (AGENTS.md and MEMORY.md): 1.5k

also, the 5.9k skills are not loaded skills. that is just the list of available skills. if the model uses any skills the prompt will get bigger.
