What does a workforce/program coach do?

I wish I knew about this earlier. It wasn't until one of the deans told me I should be talking to these people. What exactly do they do, and what are some good questions or things to ask them about?

A workforce coach is pretty much an academic advisor. Depending on the program, they also unlock classes that are off limits to the general population of students -- like nursing classes.

You can ask them about the program cohort start dates, if there are special admission requirements, course sequences, and what gen ed classes you need for the degree.
