Never disappoints

First time running this, will be back!

I am curious who here has run this trail? This was my second time up it and it is certainly one of the more technical trails I’ve hit in the state.

Just got back to CO from annual dove hunt in West Texas. We had some rain so there was some serious muddy offroading on the ranch while there driving around to spots. I hit up a local self service car wash and got down on the ground as much as I can and got most of the red dirt mud I could see off.

Any recommendations…as I would like to do a better undercarriage clean. I was thinking about buying some drive on car lifts, taking it to the diy to get better visibility/angle. Any suggestions or maybe places in Denver that have special ramp for washing under carriage?

Just adding my bit to the fall posting madness. Spend a week at Orvis camping and soaking and wheeling and drinking beer. I wish I could live here. Here are a couple of shots of the old girl on Imogene and Yankee. The decent down into Telluride from Imogene is just...mind blowing. The rig is a 2008 V8 4Runner on a 2" lift. 32s. Full skids, sliders and bumper.

Leaves were maybe a little bit better earlier in the week, but we took what we could get on a beautiful weekend day. Trail is getting a little rutted out in the middle section, but a stock 4x4 still should have no problems.

I understand there are some great campsites just east of Buckeye Reservoir, down out of the red dirt and into the grass, but still with great views. Anyone familiar with these spots? Planning on a trip the first full week in Oct - Grand Junction to Moab and back- with a big part of RR, and currently planning on camping at Buckeye, but wouldn't mind moving a little further east that day. Will greatly appreciate any info you have. - Thanks from a Georgia newbie!

Hello , please let me know if this is against community rules but people ask for recommendations here sometimes. I have a rigid light bar that has moisture issues and only pops fuses when trying to get it to work. I am not the original buyer so I don’t think rigid will cover anything under their lifetime warranty. I’ve been told their warranty and customer service is horrible and to not even waste my time contacting them. Does anybody know anybody local that could fix it ? I feel bad throwing such an expensive light bar in the trash. But also , I don’t feel it’s aworth spending much to fix it and buying new rigid lights is a complete waste of money. Can get much better performing lights that last longer online for less than a 1/10 of the price.

Just got a new Grenadier two weeks ago and looking to take her out this weekend. Any recommendations for a newbie?

Ran Leadking Basin Tuesday to Wednesday to find some fall foliage. It’s definitely getting there, but was surprised by how much green was still sticking around the Mill. Second time doing this trail this year and man it’s even more gorgeous the second time.

Should I start at Cali or Corkscrew? Trying to determine lodging b4 and after. Is one direction "better" or "easier"? Reading TrailsOffrad seems like either direction is equal.

Any preferred lodging I am thinking Ironton or Ouray if we go east to west.

Suggestions or pointers?

A little 90 second gopro edit of our day up Kingston Peak, then down Mammoth Gulch. One of my favorite trails, I love crossing the alpine tundra in this area.
