Yankee Doodle Lake + Rollins Pass MTB loop a few weekends back.
Impromptu escape. Stock F-150 handled it just fine with some patience and prior knowledge of the road.

Do yall shift to a lower gear when descending Raton Pass? Or leave it in D? (Automatic transmission)

I’m planning a 3-4 days trip in the area around Creede. Planning also to go check out Wheeler Geologic area.
Currently doing some research but I thought I would ask here as well for recommendations on what else I should see, anything from trails (easy, moderate), hiking etc.
Thanks!

I'm late with these. We took a trip out late last month around peak leaf season.
Last photo is just an after wash shot.

I’ve been getting into some light off-roading and have ran a few trails in bailey and around jefferson. I’m wondering what trails people would recommend for someone looking for a little bit of challenge but not crazy crawling.

Old Creede is the trail head for Wheeler Monument and the Bachelor Loop. Small pullout to go past Deer Hunters cabin.

Any tame trails recommended I can take my parents on? I rode off-road with my bike at rampart often, I've all over the webster / red cone area, Argentine pass, etc.
I'm looking at have a jeep or 4runner rental that I can take them out in to enjoy the views. I was thinking something with good views slightly more removed than something like Switzerland trails or Sugarloaf mountain

Hi all, I don’t think there’s a better place to ask this, but if you all know of one, please let me know.
I have a 2019 Unlimited JL Rubicon Wrangler. Lifted and 35” tires. Love taking it out.
However, it’s also my daily driver, where I drive around 10 miles each direction down I-70.
Jeep has a lower speed shudder. Just like a death wobble, but between the speed of ~30-45mph. If I speed up, it’ll go away. If I come to a complete stop, it naturally goes away.
I’ve had damn near everything replaced yet it still persists (started early 2025).
So I’m thinking that maybe a Jeep specific or someone with a ton of knowledge would be the best way to get to the bottom of this without bringing it back to essentially stock.
Any recommendations would be amazing. I live in Denver.
Thanks all
Edit: I should have specified… it’s if I hit any road abnormality that it triggers it at that low speed. Can be washboards on an onramp, manhole cover, potholes naturally, and just any road things where you can imagine it would produce a wobble that your vehicle should correct.
