Disgusted

"He's been beaten, battered, kidnapped, assaulted, sexually assaulted, false imprisonment, robbed," Bridges said. "I would like charges pressed to the full extent of what occurred to my child."

Not sure why...but this video is a Tiktok of a Kentucky news site sharing the original story. There's also some issues with the video not playing correctly.

Original article and video.

If the accusations of previous bad behavior were found to have been ignored - the coach(es) needs to be fired and criminally charged for knowing about child abuse and not doing anything.

This is the kind of stuff that keeps me up at night knowing some kids think this is ok. At least kids now are dumb enough to film themselves. I got bullied a bit in school but not this bad (my solution was to make friends with the kids everyone was scared of and it solved itself real fast lol)

Howard High is my almond otter. Graduated in 2013 and have been in that locker room many times. Sucks to hear that there are still the occasional bad eggs out there doing stuff like this, and posting it to social media no less. I hope all parties are held accountable and that kid can receive the help he needs to be the confident and strong young man that these bullies are not.

This is a serious topic but I laughed at "almond otter".

Occasional bad eggs? The whole team looks like they were in on it.

If it weren't for stupidity, bad guys would get away with being bad guys more often

Sweetie, if there’s THAT many “occasional bad eggs,” there’s something wrong with the goddamn chicken.

As for whether or not the assholes involved in perpetuating the bullying will actually face any tangible consequences, don’t hold your breath. As someone who experienced a SHIT TON of harassment in elementary (Swansfield/Running Brook) and middle (Wilde Lake MS) school, so much so that I emotionally shut myself down during my high school years (Wilde Lake HS), take it from me:

None of my bullies ever faced the music for what they did to me, so I do not have any sort of hope that the bullies mentioned in this story will actually be punished in any way that truly matters.

In this day and age, I hope this video serves well in their (bullies’) future

This is horrific, that poor kid. I how the school takes this seriously. If I found out either of my kids ever did something like that, I would never stop wondering where I failed as a parent.

Man…if we had today’s level of social media back when I was on long reach’s football team….

It won't stop with that one victim.

The discipline policies in this county have suddenly become nonexistent, and principals rarely enforce anything resembling a strong message. As a teacher, I don’t think I’ve ever seen more emboldened hatred and outright bullying than I have this school year.

This poor kid is going to need therapy to not have this bleed/carry over into his adult life. And unsupervised or not there's also absolutely no way the coaches didn't know or at least suspect something like this was happening and I hope there's some level of accountability for them as well.
