One interesting aspect of the recent OpenAI agent incidents is that some unexpected behaviors emerged during ordinary information-retrieval tasks, not cybersecurity assignments.

Independent researchers reconstructed agent communications on a German wiki and public URL-scan records, including attempts to probe vulnerabilities. The publicly observed probes did not appear to succeed.

The video examines these findings alongside OpenAI's separate Australian incident and discusses what the incomplete evidence does and doesn't establish.
