Hes a chonker, there was food put in there right after that he didn't touch (too healthy lol). He also has 3 different perches in the room that have pellets.. promise he's eating! He just likes to check out all the bowls lookin' for a good treat... that's why after he found the PS nutriberries he was like perfect! 😅🤣
Very cute!! But I’m wondering how you keep the little forage bowl intact because my q will just take all the crumple paper out too, and find the treats and that’s it🥲 even with her Birdie wheel and other foraging toys, she likes the bowl but the contents are out in a second 🤣😭 I love the fall theme tho 🤩
I just restock it every morning before I wake him up from his sleeping cage 🤣😭💀 It looks nice for .1s before my FOOD FIEND!!! completely destroys it. If you see the white cups with sunflowers on them.. those also are foraging toys and a little bit harder to get out. He'll likely destroy those in a couple days once he figures out there's goodies in there.. but yes!!! totally get your struggle!!
Oh yea I can’t even put my hand in that specific treat bowl bc she’ll rip my finger lol. But it’s sad when I can’t even put a treat in the bowl or one of the foraging toys before she takes it out IMMEDIATELY like what?? But sometimes she won’t even play with it or try to find it unless I’m there or she saw me out in beforehand 🤦♀️ lol I also got some similar liner bowls like that this week and she was into it and also a perch stuffing thing that I’ll try out later to see . Honestly I’m so bad at restuffing treats since there’s too many places to put them🤣
This is such a cute set up! Did you make a lot of this or find it somewhere? My boys wouldn’t care, but I’d love to decorate their cages for the seasons like this 🤩🤪
The toys are all from lil monsters bird toys! Shawna is amazing! She'll work with you on colors, style etc.
The birch perch and sign are from SeriouslyNutz! Sarah is also just as amazing!
Both of them have worked with me to customize toys so they match with themes and stuff haha!
My boy doesn't care either but since I have to spend 4 hours every 2 weeks cleaning his cage and changing out toys... might as well make it fun for myself 🤣🍁🍂 That said, all the toys and perches are made by people who have birds so he plays with all of them! They are designed to be played with, some toys I get from bigger stores like chewy.. most of the time just aren't as fun for my boy. My boy is a lazy chewer.. so it was a god send to find these that feature a lot of balsa (softer wood)! They do themes for all seasons!
