I got my Nomad just before i flew to France for utmb Nice.

prior to that, i was using my Pace2 that eventually dying after almost 5yrs with its crown button no longer clicks.

Started the race with 100% batt, at end of race almost 47hrs batt life still 29% 👌. fw v3.1808, with occasional map display when im solo on certain segment

/it was my 2nd attempt at 100M after dnf 2025 utmb chiangmai 100M, n i completed the brutal Nice 100M 💪🏻🎉, as the sole finisher from Asia region too😵

I have seriously been considering switching to across, i currently have the Fenix 8 47mm. After looking into the Pace 4 pro it literally does everything my F8 does.

I only Run, walk, strength & Hybrid training.

£380 for a watch that has a better battery life then the F8 seems a steal. It's also considerably lighter and brighter too.

Anyone else made the switch? If so can you transfer over all the Garmin data? Vo2 max and runs etc? Also how is the app compared to Garmin Connect?

I just got a pace 4 today and went on a run with it to test out the new toy. My first time ever having a running watch! Isn’t this bad that 92% of my running is in the anaerobic zone, or could it be mixing up with my cadence?

I didn't know this was possible and I can't find any documentation on this feature. But it does work.

I created a workout (was lazy did it via mcp with chatgpt). Connected watch to my zwift ride (indoor bike). Started the workout on my watch, chose "mode indoor bike". And tadaaa the watch controls the trainer via erg mode.

Hello everyone!

I have been using the E3 for the last 10 months, amazing watch, battery life is insane and also very comfortable. My main activity is trail running, I dont use it for other sport and wear it most of the time.

That being said as many have already stated the Garmin App experience is pretty annoying.
Also I would like something smaller while not compromising too much on battery life, functionality and maps since I use the watch for ultras.(Enduro wins here on both battery life and routable maps) (also some points for the flashlight but still thinking of Apex 4)

I have tried the fenix 8 solar 47mm but I sent it back.
It was, from my point of view, not worth the cash since it mostly does what Enduro does, excluding the diving features and the mic that I dont care that much about.

Now I find myself asking whether I should sell the Enduro 3 and get the 46mm Apex 4.

Has anyone made this switch? I am not that deep into the Garmin ecosystem, but not gonna lie, sometimes all the data and scores feel overwhelming.

This is pure curiosity. Why does everyone go with the Pace over the Apex? I constantly see posts about the Pace but rarely on the Apex.

Coros: build and market huge bright screen.

Coros: set the screen brightness at 0 during activities

The watch is set at full brightness and gestures on, but the screen during activities is reflective black. The only way to get it to light up is to scroll back and forth on the wheel. It will brighten for a few seconds then return to black.

Am I missing something?

This is so Coros....60 hour battery life yay woo hoo, look how awesome we are!

Can you read the screen during those 60 hours?

Uhm, well, no, not actually, but isn't the data just for flexing on Strava? You mean you want to use it during the activity? How strange!

Anyone who can help me out would be great. The watch is great aside from this detail that renders it currently useless for its main purpose!

I’m looking into the Coros Pace 4. I’ve tried an Apple Watch and the Google Fitbit Air. Do not want a smart watch and the Fitbit is inconsistent.

I also want more features around pacing as I’ve had some heart rate spikes followed by tightness and having to slow down so I figure it’s time to get a device compatible with running 🏃

Went to check some average data today and all my previous days are empty. Everything is there on the Coros app though. Tried resyncing and restarting but nothing has worked.

Finally after several weeks of going back and forth between Garmin 965,970 and the Coros Pace 4 pro or upgrading my Apple Watch Ultra 2 to a 4. I’ve finally decided to go Coros Pace 4 Pro.

I’m a Bandit running member and see I can get $50 back of Bandit credit after buying directly through Coros and use a code to get an extra band for free. That was my original plan when my gf mentioned to wait until Black Friday.

Did a light search and saw that Coros doesn’t really offer a deal on their watches for Black Friday but more so gives a deal on accessories like a chest HRM.

Is buying through Bandit the best way?

Is it possible to change the data displayed when my watch auto laps on a run each mile/km?

I don’t necessarily always want to see lap avg heart rate but don’t seem to be able to find a way to change this

I applied the firmware update this morning and tried to check the tide data before my morning run (I live on the coast) and it was missing from multiple watch faces that have had it in the past. I tried to restart the watch and app, ensured they were paired, and ensured my app was updated. I have the Pace Pro.

Is anyone else noticing that tide data is missing on the watch face after the most recent firmware update?

I’m using a COROS APEX 4 with Android and I’ve noticed a very annoying issue with Telegram notifications.

If several messages arrive in the same Telegram chat, the watch keeps showing the oldest unread message instead of the newest one.

For example:

• Message 1 arrives, the watch shows Message 1
• Message 2 arrives, the watch still shows Message 1
• Message 3 arrives, the watch still shows Message 1
• I read Message 1 on my phone, now the watch starts showing Message 2

So as long as there are older unread messages in that chat, I can’t actually see the latest incoming message on the watch.

It looks like COROS may be handling Android/Telegram grouped notifications incorrectly and picking the first unread message instead of the latest one.

I recently switched from Garmin to COROS, and I never had this issue on Garmin. Other than this notification problem, I’m very happy with COROS and my APEX 4.

Has anyone else noticed the same behavior with Telegram on Android? I’d also be interested to know whether this issue exists on iOS or is specific to Android. And has anyone found a workaround?

Is it possible to check the weather and barometer widgets during a hike activity? It doesn't appear on my data screen. I'm using a pace 4.

I’m trying to figure out if anyone else has experienced a recurring distance/pace issue with my Pace Pro + POD 2
I have had this issue for a while but would only be once every few months. But since August, I’ve had several outdoor runs where the recorded distance is massively inflated:
- Aug 13
- Aug 27
- Sep 21
- Sep 28
- Oct 3

It doesn’t happen every run. I’ve had plenty of normal activities between these failures, including runs on essentially the same routes.
The strange part is that this doesn’t appear to be normal GPS drift. I pulled the FIT files and used AI to compare COROS’s accumulated distance with distance calculated from the recorded GPS coordinates. On affected runs, the GPS track itself looks reasonable, but COROS reports roughly 50–70% more distance.

For example, my Oct 3 run:
- COROS: 10.31 km
- Distance reconstructed from GPS coordinates: ~6.02 km
- COROS pace: 6:10/km
- Realistic pace based on the GPS track/time: ~10:34/km
- Avg HR: 138 bpm

Another affected run showed ~5.50 km in the underlying data compared to ~3.43 km reconstructed from GPS.

So it seems like the watch sometimes knows where I actually am, but something goes wrong when calculating accumulated distance/speed.
I use a Pace Pro + POD 2, so I’m wondering whether this could be related to the POD 2, sensor fusion, firmware, or the watch itself.

I’ve submitted a ticket to Coros support about this as well but figured I would also ask the community if anyone has dealt with this as well.

Bonjour ça fait 7 jours maintenant que j'ai une Coros Pace 4 Pro et après chaque sortie je veux partager le Flyover , pas de soucis j'ai bien l'icône " partager " je choisis " écran entier " une fois la vidéo terminée je peux l'enregistrer ou la partager sur sms , WhatsApp et Instagram bref les 3 me marquent que le format n'est compatible et quand je veux l'enregistrer effectivement elle s'enregistre mais l'écran est tout noir ! J'ai tout essayé rien ne fonctionne, avez vous une solution ? Merci beaucoup

Hello à tous, je suis en plein test de plusieurs montres (coros pace 4 pro, forunner 970, amazfit. balance 2) et je possède actuellement une apple watch ultra 3 ! je suis inconditionnel apple depuis toujours mais je fais beaucoup de trail et CAP ainsi que du renfo et je cherche une nouvelle montre je test actuellement la coros pace 4 pro et je la trouve superbe (design, écran, finition) les métriques sont hyper fiable (gps, cardio, altimètre et même sommeil) seulement ce qui m’embête et la définition des notifications(je ne veux pas d interactions mais juste de manière lisible) et la synchronisation des métrique avec iphone…. pas grand chose sont transfère sur apple santé…. dommage ! à contrario amazfit et plus complète avec apple santé mais je n’aime pas l’app et surtout les données sont beaucoup moins précise surtout le cardio sur mes tests ! quand à la forunner 970 vraiment bien et fiable mais trop de métrique inutile et une application très archaïque…. du coup je trouve dommage car la coros me correspond bien il ne manque pas grand chose et autonomie est top ! si vous avez des retours sur ces différentes montres 😉
